“SCAM, AVOID AT ALL COSTS SCAM, AVOID – REFUND WITHHELD, Reported to Trading Standards I ordered a custom splashback which arrived incorrectly sized. Their website repeatedly failed when entering measurements — both I and my kitchen installer experienced the same issue. A second order was placed with the correct dimensions. I clearly told the company to refund the first (incorrect) order and keep the second. Despite this being explained multiple times, they delayed by repeatedly asking which order I meant, then stopped responding altogether. Weeks later, no refund has been issued. I am out of pocket through no fault of my own. I have now contacted my card provider for a chargeback and reported the company to Trading Standards. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend avoiding this company.”

“We have now purchased 2 custom splashbacks. The process was extremely simple and went without a hitch. We were so pleased with the result which is why we went for the second one. Fixing them into place was also very simple.”

“Custom splash backs provided an excellent product , colour and depth of colour looks stunning even our fitter was so impressed he wanted photos of it , not cheap but worth it for somthing different and of such good quality . The only thing I would suggest is improving customer communication , had to chase for drawing to be approved and the status of my order and email did not work , kept returning unable to deliver . Got there eventually and product as I said is excellent”

“We wanted something different in our kitchen revamp, partly to look good, obviously, but also to hide where tiles were when we removed them to chase cable runs etc. the ordering procedure is a bit long winded, but it's all good, worth getting the template though, helps to make sure it will fit correctly.”

“Ordering the splashback was easy and straight forward the size was checked with us before our order was dispatched and I was genuinely impressed by the company. However when the splashback arrived we discovered that the item did not fit due to a discrepancy of a few mm in one spot that isn't visible and didn't get picked up when we measured. On contacting Custom splashbacks I was asked to send pictures of the issue which isn't possible as a picture would not capture the issue. When I asked for advice on the best way to trim off a few mm in one small area I was told "You can cut this down. I would suggest possibly researching into best practice for cutting this at home, as we use a cnc routing machine, so we could not recommend a home method". Not the best customer service in the world so now I have two very large pieces of aluminium composite that I can't fit and don't know what to do with. Further emails have been ignored.”

“Arrived in stated timescale, well packaged. They kept me informed and sent me a proof to approve. Its really nice, just what we were hoping for. You will see our greyhound laying down in long grass, love it, thank you.”

“The splashback is fabulous - I bought the rose gold and am really happy with it. Customer service was lovely and helpful. BUT the delivery service was atrocious! The delivery window is 8am-6pm. Even on the day you have to wait in for 10 whole hours with no idea of approximately when it’ll be getting there. The day of my delivery arrived but it just didn’t turn up! After 8 hours of waiting, the status changed to ‘delivered’ and was apparently signed for by me! The next morning I called (taking an hour to get through, and was ‘transferred’ to another operator who then cut me off) to see where it was and was eventually greeted by a very rude woman at DX delivery who seemed unable to provide a reason or apologise for the no-show. I was very unimpressed by their complete lack of organisation not to mention non-existent communication and customer service. No one gives a 10 hour window for deliveries - on the day the driver must have a route in mind! It gave me alot of stress waiting in for 2 days. In the end it arrived at 4.30pm on the second day of waiting. I’d never ever use this rubbish delivery company. The drivers are really lovely but horribly overloaded.”

“Excellent Quality Product This is the first time I have used this company and I would highly recommend them. I was able to request a sample in advance which only took 1 day to arrive. To have a custom made splashback delivered in the time it took for me to receive my order was impressive.”
