He had a very friendly rapport with the whole range of audience and despite coming on later than anticipated rounded off the evening with his usual hilarious and very professional routine. “We hired Pete Emmett to host our second annual Charity Comedy Night at Ossett Town Hall in November 2019. Pete hosted our first ever Comedy Night back in 2018 so when we began planning for this years event there was only ever one choice for our host! Pete did a fantastic job at keeping the event flowing, entertaining the crowd and helping us to raise as much money as possible for our charity. “What a cracking night we had last night at Queens sports club in Halifax...We were brilliantly entertained by Lea Robert's who was on top form and connected with the whole of the audience...Lea had only that morning flown up from Exeter where he had done a gig for David Duckham the ex England RU player..Considering his journey Lea was a true pro and even stopped on after his brilliant performance and chatted with us about the many celebrities he had met..I fully recommend Lea Roberts”

“Would highly recommend we had Bill Woolland as MC/comedian and he was excellent from start to finish engaging the crowd superbly. Adrian Morley was also better than expected telling funny stories and a brilliant account of his career. Would highly recommend both of them as well as the company who where brilliant with me as a first time booker and I will be using them again!!”

Ahead of the evening, Pete engaged with us to ensure mutual understanding of running order and he was clear on the objectives we wished to achieve from the event.”

“Nina Gilligan kept a mixed audience in stitches with her down to earth brand of observational humour. Her ability to think on her feet and come up with witty responses was a joy to behold. Rudi West kept the mixed audience laughing throughout his set. His sketch featuring the drunk returning home after a night out was superb. I can highly recommend Rudi if you are wanting a good bellylaugh.”

“After Dinner Speakers and Comedians are a great company to deal with. On my initial approach I was given a list of alternatives with more than enough information upon which to make a decision. I chose Billy Flywheel for our annual golf club dinner (gents and black tie) which was last Friday. He was a sensation. Great value for money, he was funny, entertaining, original and his tricks were brilliant. I would definitely recommend the company and for a gents and a mixed audience, Billy Flywheel.”

“Billy Flywheel WOW, started telling jokes, moved onto illusions with comedy, hypnotism. What a performance! People are still talking about him 3 weeks after the event. 2 local clubs want to hire him. Didn’t swear, arguably the best we have ever had. Will definitely re book.”

“We booked Graham Gooch and Pete Emmett for our annual dinner. Mark recommended both people to us Graham was great as to be expected. Pete Emmett was exceptional. As the organiser he made my night really easy and the whole evening went very smoothly and he helped to maximise our fundraising. His comedy was very funny and everyone agreed he made this our best dinner to date. Hopefully we'll be able to have him back next year!”

“Having run a pre match comedy lunch at my local rugby club over the last 7 years I have always relied upon ADS & C to assist in proving the comedian. They have always been hugely helpful and never fail to supply a comic who can entertain a mixed audience. Martin Gold was our last Comedian and the feedback from guests was fantastic again. Huge thanks to all involved.”
