“We had the pleasure of welcoming Paul Boardman to Evesham Golf Club on Friday 19th of November. His set was excellent and delighted members young and old. Not only was he very funny he engaged with members in an open and friendly manner. I would not hesitate in recommending him and Melissa and the team at After Dinner Speakers and Comedians for their helpful and efficient approach”

“Just a quick message about my recent 60th Charity Comedy night. Well set up by After Dinner Speakers & Comedians Ltd but the standard of comedy from Pete Emmett, Josh Daniels and finishing with Lea Roberts was outstanding. The crowd were looking forward to a good laugh and we were not let down. The comedians added and probably made my 60th Birthday a real charity success.”

“Bruce was very good, arrived on time and did 45 minutes. The MC ( last-minute stand-in)was a let down although he was not helped by circumstances in the room from what I had been promised by you the agent. I have seen a lot better for the money the club paid. I was sat next to Lou and he is a most likable person and was a good conversationalist just did not free he was up to the job.”

“I had Lea Roberts perform at my Leeds Laughter Lounge on 7tn November. He was absolutely fantastic. Very funny and a true gent on and off the stage. We met as promoter and artiste but left as friends. Will definitely have him again at my show”

They are easy to deal with both on the phone and by email and always keep you updated throughout the process right up until the day of the event. A thoroughly professional organization who I would highly recommend.”

“Mick Miller did my 60th and now my 70th and wedding reception, held in a marquee, in our grounds, on the 29th August 2020. He arrived early and mingled with our guests, some of whom he has history with. His set was, as ever, exactly what was needed and enjoyed by all, even those who had never heard of him, but, for me, the nice touch was he stayed quite late, hopefully enjoyed himself, but was appreciated by all. Great bloke, great value (though don’t tell him that). Will book him for my 80th. Not forgetting all those at “After Dinner” battling away under very severe restrictions.”

“This is just a quick note to say thanks for arranging for Dr Xand to present the British Parking Awards. Xand simply excellent from the moment he arrived. His engagement with the design and AV team was much appreciated, especially as we had a new more animated show. My colleagues and several guests appreciated how he had a crafted a personal and very funny parking themed talk that also drew on the short list for the event. And he kept the whole show moving with charm and a real sense of connection with the audience. Throughout the day I was so impressed with his generosity in making time for the many parents and grandparents in the audience who wanted selfies, signed books and video messages for their kids and grandkids. Working with Mark at Comedians means we have been very lucky in our speaker selections over the years, and once again it was very much a case of people saying 'that speaker was the best one yet!'. Xand has set the bar even higher for the next awards. I would highly recommend Xand for other awards events.”

“Mick Miller was probably the best comedian we’ve had in a long long time. 45 guests laughed nonstop for 60 minutes. No bad language, no rude jokes just funny, funny, funny and such a refreshing change. What a gentleman! To be highly recommended.”

“If you are looking for a swearing blue comedian then Mike Farrell is NOT your man. On the other hand if you want someone who can entertain an audience from a wide spectrum he's the one for you. Mike kept an otherwise noisy audience comprising of men and women from an age range between 12 and 75 laughing for just short of an hour with clean funny stories the majority of which were new material. Never had such positive feedback having run the same function (a bowls presentation evening) for a good few years. He was recommended by after dinner speakers and comedians and based on this experience will certainly use their service again.”

“I cannot speak highly enough about Lea Roberts. I have been organising dinners and speakers for over 15 years now and there is nothing more satisfying than seeing the audience with tears of laughter running down their face. When I say the best I have ever seen, don’t believe me, believe the other 130 attendees who all echo my thoughts. Absolute-Lea magnificent!!!!”

“Speaker Kevin Ratcliffe and Comedian Big Lou Jones were both excellent. It was particularly pleasing to see them both stay and socialise with our guests for well over an hour after they had finished speaking. Kevin even buying a round of drinks for the top table. The first guest speaker that we have had who has done that. Its a small gesture but to those who had spent months organising the event it was worth its weight in gold. Well done and massive thanks to both of them. Highly recommended.”

“I have been using Mark Davis at After Dinner Speakers and Comedians for around 20 years. They have supplied my cricket club with top cricketing names and comedians and never let us down. This year we had comedian Josh Daniels for the 3rd time. He is a great lad and superb comedian with a twist (guitar). The audience loved him and he pitched his material just right. We have held gala dinners , club dinners and fundraising nights with the help of Mark and his team.
