“Compared to other online businesses I found the communication and speed of delivery of orders below par. My current straightforward order made on 6th has no update and it’s 9th compared to another small business who had to bespoke my product and it was on its way the next day.”

Hi, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, I am however sorry to hear that you are disappointed with the speed of delivery and communication received from us. As outlined on our website during checkout, our standard UK delivery timescale is 2-4 working days from the date of order. We do offer an express delivery service that takes 1-2 working days, however, you did not select this during checkout on this occasion. We offer a 2-4 working day delivery service to keep the cost of delivery to a minimum, next day delivery services have a large fee associated with them and we don't want to pass this on to our customers unless they specifically want to pay for the service. Looking at the order you placed on Sunday 28th November, which was over our black weekend sale and our busiest sales period, the product was dispatched to Hermes on 29th November (the next working day after your order was placed) and then delivered to you on Friday 3rd December. Hermes has taken slightly longer to deliver your parcel than we usually expect due to the volume of parcels in their network following the Black Friday sale period, however, this was out of our control. Alongside this, at the point of ordering from us, you will have received an email confirming your order, another email when your order was dispatched by us that included a tracking number, an email on the day of delivery confirming a 4-hour time slot, and an email confirming that the order had been delivered to you. We also sent an email with door knocker fitting instructions. I'm not entirely sure how else we could have provided more communication to you about your order. Regarding the 6th and 9th that you reference in your review, these dates do not align with your order dates so I'm unsure what you mean here. As a small business, we rely upon providing quality products, great communication, and excellent customer service. As you can see, we have 99.9% 5-star reviews and on this occasion, we have provided the same service our other happy customers have also received.
