“Amazing staff compassionate from start to finish. My parents passed 20 days apart and the team held off my dad's funeral so my mum could be cremated at the same time. Nothing was too much trouble everything was explained as the process moved along. The team are always on the phone to help with anything or answer any questions even if it has been explained prior. When my mum passed a note was put on the system that I had called and would call back in the morning. This was seen by the very compassionate lady who was dealing with my dads funeral and she made a note that if I called she would like to talk with me. It was a relief to have one person dealing with both not having to call about one then talk to someone else about the other. Such a horrible experience was made easier by the team and their support and each time we spoke they always asked how I was doing, I felt like a person not just another voice on the phone. The driver who delivered the ashes back to me was so compassionate and asked if he could bring them into the home not just hand them over at the door. There was a feeling of caring and understanding throughout the whole thing which I had been dreading. I felt thankful knowing my parents had been taken great care of throughout the whole process.”

“Cannot speak highly enough of the professional and sensitive service we received at the most heartbreaking of times. At first we were very shocked when we realised this type of funeral was our dad’s wishes. We couldn’t understand why, we didn’t really know what it entailed but we can honestly say it was absolutely perfect for him. From our first phone call to the lovely touch of a certificate arriving in the post after his unattended funeral, saying a tree will be planted in his memory. Delivery of his ashes was also done with the upmost sincerity. Thank you for providing a compassionate and professional service at such a sad time.”

“Really pleasant and professional experience. Staff were so very supportive in walking me through the process of what needed doing and offering 24-hour support during a very difficult time. “Nothing was too much trouble, from the start to the end process, everything was explained in detail by people who showed compassion and sympathy. All prices were detailed and explained in full, no hidden costs. Even at the end when the ashes were returned they were friendly and respectful. I would reccommend using this company if you require a no fuss cremation with a fixed price.”

“What a fantastic service, the staff so friendly, helpful and full of empathy at a sad time. My dad Anthony died, and Celebration of life were a huge help to both myself and step mum. Communication was excellent every step of the way. We are delighted a tree will be planted in his memory. The return of the ashes was challenging as my step mum was very apprehensive, and delayed the return on several occasions, however they were returned by a delightful young lady who put my step mum at ease and had a cuppa with her making sure she was comfortable before she left. Bravo CofL, I'm recommending you to everyone I know.”

“I have a lot of thanks to give COL. My mum was suddenly terminally ill and my dad was caring for her, and so it became my responsibility to get a lot of things in line. Mum wanted a non attended cremation, simple, sweet and for family to gather on the day of. As having never dealt with a death personally it was a lot of information to take in for a newbie on after-life matters. After doing some research I landed on celebration of life. My reasons being: Their website was simple and easy to understand. Their prices were the best. And their sense of love for the family and deceased drew me as well as their reviews settled my anxiety regarding a big decision. So the dreaded day arrived and I dialled the number that was clear on their website and the process began. In a moment of shock and sadness they made it clear and simple. Jenny on the phone patiently spoke through the proceedings with me and a few hours later the team turned up to take mum. My twin sister sat in as they moved her and she was beyond impressed with the love shown to mum as though she were still with us. They then sat with us and once again explained what the following steps would be to get things in order to arrange a cremation. Beyond thankful for the guidance. Being 28 I haven’t got the foggiest what to do after a death so their explanations were so helpful to us. We promptly got on with paper work and phone calls and Jenny called me every few days to keep me updated and see how me and my family were doing. My older sister lives abroad and had flown over to be with us for the gathering on mums cremation date. We had a dead line to work to and due to unforeseen delays from the doctors it meant our window for gathering on cremation day was closing. I made my concerns known to Jenny and she promised to do all she could and to our relief mum was cremated the day before my sister flew back out and we were able to fulfil mums wish. We chose not to have the ashes but that they be spread in the gardens. A few weeks later i received a letter and a certificate that a tree had been planted in honour of mum and also a card from the crematorium to say mums ashes had been spread and specifically where should we wish to visit in the future. The personal touch throughout this experience has been outstanding and meant an awful lot to me during a dark time for my family. I have and will continue to let others know about your lovely services and how you have helped us through this grievous situation. Thank you Jenny and team!”
