“Not a professional installer and hence, selection of the kit was very easy with the website design. Rang a few times to get advice and it was service with a smile. Very helpful staff. The drive, camera and ancillary stuff arrived within 3 days and was very well packaged. From so many searches, found the best price here. Still need to install and am sure any guidance will be forthcoming.”

“I wanted to upgrade from an old HikVision NVR. CCTV Empire has very competitive prices. The delivery was free and the parcel was received on the next working day. “A five star experience all the way. I ordered a Hikvision M2 series NVR, (which was a good price), and it was delivered super-quick. The only problem I've got is that for some reason the image settings of the first seven of my 14 externally switch-networked Hikvision cameras, (I don't use the POE ports atm), are not being recognised by the latest 416 firmware in the ds-7616ni-m2 NVR for some reason which is very strange but apart from that everything else seems to work OK - I just have to set the image/video settings of the first seven cameras via browser access to the cameras as I can't do it via the NVR. I can't see any obvious settings differences to explain it and there are no other problems - it's certainly much faster than the I series one it replaced. Any ideas gratefully accepted...”

it is possible this is just a firmware bug that will be fixed in a future update (i have reported the issue to Hikvision), but please do contact us so we can take a look at the issue. In the meantime you are, as you said, able to change the image settings in the camera itself which should perform the same functions.
