I brought 2 recliner riser chairs from care co in october 2024.which was fantastic when they arrived because i had had an opperation on my spine in2023.i thought great that would be better surpport for my back and the second chair was for my husband. It all went wrong in febuary when a fault developed in my recliner and had to phone the care team about it. They sent someone out to look at it who tooked photos which was passed on to the care team. They then ordered the materails to repair the chair. After receiving the repair package another company was sent in to repair it. The same fault reappeared with in days of the repair being done.as a consequence of this i had to go through the same process again only this time i have waited for the replacement part to br delivered to me since the second report went in in april which was over four months by the time i sent a recording delivery letter to head office. They wrote back to me stating that they would replace thr chair for me, we then phone the care team who were reluckant to replace it until i told them i had it in writing from head office to be replaced. I was given a delivery date for the replacement chair and collection of the faulty one fot 25 th septemder 2024. Yes today and surprize ,surprize care co arrived with my new chair but were unable to deliver as they only sent one man and as we have7 steps down to our front door it needed a team of two . No new chair. On top of this the care team refuse to issue a new 12 month warrentee with the new chair, which i think they should do as i have writen conformation that all this was due to a manifacturing fault, so therefore the origional agreement should be honoured. Care co dont care ..

Good products and slick sales teams but product support is very poor. My powered wheelchair developed a fault two months after delivery. I expected prompt service under warranty but it took ten days to get an engineer to me and I now have a further week’s wait for a part. Unacceptable!

I have purchased several items in the past from this company. Today , i attempted to contact them by contact form/ email, the response has been very poor.. On the contact form it stated that replies would be within 48 HOURS!!!! It was just as though they were not interested in a potential sale of around ££2000. By comparison, a message to a competitor company was answered in about 1 minute!

First scooter was faulty and went without for nearly 3 weeks (Christmas time 🙄). Second scooter is 8 month old and loses power. Cannot manage 2 miles on it now. Called and was told batteries are only guaranteed for 6 months! I explained that I don’t know for sure the battery is at fault. Something must be draining it IF it is the battery. Was told an engineer will come in about 7-10 days. Today is the end of the 10th day and no visit as of yet. Staff at Leicester are polite enough but I feel the policies are ridiculous. My dad has been pretty much housebound because it takes an engineer 7-10 days to come out! Based on the fact that disabled people use this company I would have thought a quicker response time would have been put in place. I will call again in the morning but I am doubtful anything will be quickly resolved.
