“Don't waste your time ordering Carex plants from Carbeth Plants. I ordered three and paid £20. They arrived today in a very poor condition as you can see from the attached photos. The plants are half dead and in really poor condition. They were not only expensive but totally not what I was promised. I will NEVER order anything from them again.”

“Chased up order after a week of receiving tracking details because Royal Mail tracking didnt change. Told one plant out of stock so nothing had been sent. Thought Robyn had sorted it out as refund notice was sent. Neithr refund or remaining plants have arrived. Just received request to complete this review so being honest!! Hopefully refund and plants will turn but I wont be ordering again.”
“Having thought I was getting some large alium bulbs that the picture showed instead got a lot of very small bulbs and its very difficult to know where to put them because they all seem to be very similar but I don't know how they will develop. I was very upset with what I received but Carbeth won't take them back.”

Next day I got a Royal Mail notification telling me they were awaiting my order. This status did not change for another 10 days. Requested a refund and have received that refund.

“I must say… buying an “aloe vera” from this company was truly a masterclass in disappointment. The plant I received was so tiny I almost needed a magnifying glass to find it. Impressive how the dimensions in the description and reality managed to live in completely different universes.
To make it even better, I later bought a plant twice the size from a local garden centre for £5 less. Customer service? A few beautifully pointless emails that solved absolutely nothing. If you enjoy overpaying for miniature plants and empty replies, this is your place.”
“Sent a rosemary in a terracotta pot as a gift, it arrived broken. Was asked to prove it with photographs and then they resent just the pot! Poor service and cheeky customer service.”
