“Ordered a newspaper in a gift box and it was dispatched and delivered very quickly. Unfortunately the gift box lid was damaged in transit. After messaging Bygone News I received an apologetic email and a phone call. A replacement box lid was dispatched and arrived the following day. Excellent service. Very pleased with the quality of the newspaper and gift box.”

“I have been trying to get a newspaper from 1961 as a surprise for my brother's birthday. Going directly to the papers I was told it wasn't possible. Fortunately I say a Bygone News advert so emailed them directly and within a couple of hours not only had a response but Paul Robinson had gone down to the archives, found the paper, put it on the website for me to access and purchase. The paper is now on the way to me. By the way, I am in Australia so direct access to people is limited by both time and distance. I can't thank Paul enough for his kindness. I have been trying to do this for months and kept coming up against brick walls but Paul realised how important this was to me. Paul, I cant thank you enough. Marian”

“Beautifully wrapped and boxed original newspaper! Definately complete the message if it's a gift ( it's free) as it comes with a lovely certificate with the recipient's name on. My partner was quite overwhelmed reading the 1951 news on his birth date ( until he saw an extensive farm in Surrey advertised for £10,000 ! Haha! Then he looked a bit glum for a few minutes 🤣 !!). It makes for a lovely, original gift.”

“I purchased a newspaper of the day my grandfather was born for his 80th birthday. He was so so pleased with it and praised the quality in which it was printed, he even thought it was an original newspaper! Highly recommend Bygone news and I will most definitely be using them again.”
