“Cabinet was damaged ,I immediately sent them an email at 6pm last night (5 February)It is now 5pm and no acknowledgment of my email. Terrible customer service I did ring them this morning and I will ring again tomorrow.I am very upset ant hurt that nobody seams to care!!!!”

Hi, Thank you for your email. I'm sorry to hear that you're upset and hurt that your mirror cabinet arrived damaged by the courier. Unfortunately when dealing with fragile glass items this can occasionally occur. Emails are replied to in the order received. As the 5/2/24 was a Monday a day in which our office is closed then 3 days of emails (Saturday, Sunday & Monday) would have been waiting for staff Tuesday morning, so you would need wait more than a few hours for a reply. I believe however you telephoned Tuesday morning and spoke to a member of staff directly who made arrangements for a new cabinet to be dispatched and the matter has now been resolved - all within 24 hours of you original 6pm email. “Whilst I was happy with the price of the product the delivery was a week late (due to courier issues) i am a tradesman who will not be purchasing from you again as this lateness has cost me money and damaged my reputation due to having to rearrange an appointment. This could have gone so much better. On top of this, the box carrying the salt tablets was damaged and the tablets were opened and spilling salt in the box.”

Hi Barnaby Griffiths, I can see on our system your most recent purchase has in fact came through just the once, so not to worry! Attempted to get in touch with you but couldn't get through, so I'll explain here too: Our payments are completed through SagePay (one of the leading online processors) and it is not possible to be charged twice for one order. If you attempted the payment and it failed at checkout, or you clicked 'Back' during the payment process it may have left a 'shadow' on your credit card. Which unfortunately we have no control over and is just a current failing of the UK banking system. But not to worry! Typically this 'shadow' will come off your account naturally within a few days, and if not just contact your bank. Once again this is nothing we caused or have control over and it will sort itself out in a couple of days (if it hasn't already by now).
