“Really enjoyed our recent trip to Iceland, the hotel was lovely and standard of service was very good. All the trips we took through Baltic Travel were of a high standard, got to see quite a bit of what Iceland has to offer, just a shame we didn’t get to see the northern lights, unfortunately it was a very cloudy day and evening, and it was snowing. So we will definitely be making a trip back to this beautiful country in the future. Maybe offer the northern lights tour for 2 nights rather than just one, then at least you have a better chance of seeing them! M.Watts”

“My family and i have just returned from a short trip to Moscow, which was organised by Julija at Baltic Travel. It was a fabulous trip & everything organised by Baltic Travel was perfect. Baltic travel tailored the entire trip to our needs regarding airport preferences, transfers, booking day excursions & ballet tickets. Right from the start Julija advised us & guided us through the visa application process & answered all the many questions which we had, promptly & efficiently. “The Fosshotel Raudara was great, the staff were lovely. Grayline busses were fantastic. The shuttle busses are a really good idea and the coaches were clean and kept at a nice temperature, not too hot but not too cold. The guides were informative and each one told different local stories depending on the trips taken. I would also like to Mike and Daina for all the help before I went away, from checking regarding the use of cash in Iceland to emailing me my tickets and boarding passes. I loved it so much that I will be making a return visit but this time with a better camera to photograph the Northern lights. I have already recommended your company to a couple of people and would not hesitate to recommend it to everyone else. Thank you again for an amazing trip.”

“• The standard of accommodation was good – particularly in Riga. • We enjoyed the New Year’s Eve Gala night • The city walking tours were very good and the local guides in each city were outstanding and passionate about their cities.”

“I loved working with Lena to find me the perfect trip. Sadly I didn't see the northern lights whilst i was in Norway but i still had an amazing time! Would recommend Tromsø , Norway for anyone who wants to have an arctic adventure.”

“Good communication and holiday. The hotel is very good and in an excellent location for sightseeing and pick up points for tours. I think it is useful to keep the northern lights chase at day 2 due to the unpredictability of the weather, you may have to reschedule the next day (I was unlucky and there was a storm on day 3 when I had a day and evening tour booked, both were cancelled). It is definitely necessary to keep an evening/day free later in the trip for rescheduled events. In hindsight, I would have booked a northern lights chase day 2 and 3. Or extended the trip to one more day, because on day 1, I got to my hotel at 9pm and couldn't schedule any evening events that day. Other than that, it was a very good trip.”

“Friendly willing service but careless at times with booking errors, wrong information, incorrect itineraries and general lack of attention to detail. We had to check dates, timings and bookings on almost every communication to iron out errors.”

“The trip was amazing, we saw the northern lights and so much more. The guide was knowledgeable and helpful. Only one improvement point the first hotel was closed and it was directed to stay in the hotel next door, but we didn't know this until we got there.”

“Booking was easy, and Inga was informative and helpful throughout. Documentation arrived when expected. We were able to add whale-watching to our tour with no difficulty. We had a wonderful time. The tour itself was generally well-paced and really informative. Our courier, Vally, was very knowledgeable and good at conveying her love of Iceland. We loved her singing Icelandic songs to us! The places we visited were varied and very, very beautiful. I'm interested in History, so I was glad to hear about key events and how the volcanic activity over the centuries has shaped the Icelandic way of life. Overall the hotels were excellent and so was the food.”

“We have just returned from "Winter Wonderland - multi activity holiday" in Finland and had a fantastic time. The hotel staff looked after us really well & the birthday cake for my husband was not forgotten. The activities were really enjoyable, the highlight for us both being the husky safari. The cross country skiing was timetabled for the second morning which gave us the opportunity to do more of it as the week progressed. The food in the hotel on the first three nights was really good and the buffet on the next three was good, the difference being that due to it being a buffet, some of the food was warm rather than hot. The staff even went to the trouble of making us sandwiches on the morning of our departure as we were going to miss breakfast. The hotel was clean and very comfortable, the perfect base for our activity holiday. Everything was seamlessly organised from star to finish with no delays or hiccups along the way. Thanks again for your help in organising a very enjoyable holiday Annette McGuirk”
