“Once again, many many thanks to Daina for arranging our holiday to Krakow and Zakopane; another wonderful holiday. Radisson Blu Hotel is a super hotel – I would totally recommend. Grand Hotel Stamary in Zakopane is gorgeous and the staff are very friendly. The room was lovely, very comfortable and spacious, and the bathroom just right; but despite having an accessible room the hotel isn’t fully accessible. The ramp at the entrance is too steep to use safely alone, and the restaurant is down a flight of stairs with no lift access. The staff, however, were fantastic, and gave us a lot of help, they happily helped Peter up and down the ramp each time, and we were able to sit in the bar and have breakfast and dinner. So, not a huge problem and I would recommend this hotel too. It will soon be time to be in touch again to organise for 2020!”

“We have recently returned from a North Cape fly drive trip which was amazing. We had a good variety of overnight accommodation in wonderful locations, all were comfy, warm with great breakfasts! So, thank you Baltic Travel for organising this wonderful trip for us.”

“Everything was very well organised. There were some issues with a couple of hotels trying to bill us for our room which had already been paid for. Inga at Baltic Travel was very helpful and contacted the hotels in question straight away to get the billing refunded, including any loss due to differing exchange rates. Apart from the billing issue (not Baltic Travel's fault) everything was perfect and seemless. We would highly recommend Baltic Travel and would definately use again if travelling to any of their destinations.”

“All the travel arrangements for visiting The Faroes went exactly at expected in spite of several changes that became necessary. Choosing between flying from Gatwick and changing at Copenhagen or from Edinburgh direct we chose Gatwick, but there's some hassle in recovering luggage and then transferring to Atlantic Airways for the second leg. On the other hand, Copenhagen is an interesting city and English is widely spoken, so a couple of days stay is worth including. I managed to take the train to Roskilde where there is a fine museum including relics of 5 Viking longboats . The Absolon bed and breakfast hotel in Copenhagen is excellent. The Faroes are truly grand and awesome. The tours arranged and the guide were first rate. Torshaven is a good base with plenty of activity and cafe's in the harbour with opportunities to wander round and go by bus (all free!) to the Museum. There is also a fine Art Gallery within walking distance of Torshaven centre. The Torshaven Hotel is 3 stars and whilst the food and staff are good and its central location an advantage, the rooms are relics of construction in 1923 being too small for reasonable comfort. “We recently travelled on a river cruise, St Petersburg to Moscow through Baltic Travel which was fantastic. Baltic Travel helped us choose the ship and itinerary that best suited us. They even got us upgraded to deluxe cabins at no extra cost. Julija took us step by step through the visa application which seemed daunting but with her help it was no problem. The flights, the airport pick ups etc, ran so smoothly. We were really impressed! The cruise was absolutely brilliant. There was so much to do, the cabins were well appointed, the food was incredible and all the staff, from the seamen to cleaners to guides, interpreters etc were all so efficient and friendly. The trips were well organised and great experiences. We were the only ones from the UK that wanted to go on the Folk night in St Petersburg but they arranged for us to be dropped off and met by an English speaking rep and then took us back to the ship. They had even arranged a late dinner for us. Unbelievable Care! We would like to thank Baltic Travel and especially Julija for such an amazing '5 star' experience.”

“The tour at Copenhagen and Bornholm in May 2019 was very nice. I enjoyed the trip. The accommodation was great. I liked the Absalon Hotel and Fredensborg Badehotel very much. The rooms were nice and the staff were very warm and friendly. While Absalon Hotel was very near the Metro Station and Fredensborg Badehotel was near the bus stop, it was convenient to travel. The information from the package (e.g., the vouchers, summary of the trip etc) was useful and helpful for my travel plans. Besides that, the sharing, advice and support by Inga and her colleague on Copenhagen and Bornholm, e.g. Transportation was helpful. Thank you very much.”

“By sending us to Copenhagen. We really enjoyed ourselves. We went everywhere. Denmark was civilised, unlike Britain; you can drink water straight from the tap without tasting chlorine; everyone is on cycles and very polite. No cycling on pavements! People pay a higher Income Tax, but they’re looked after by the Government. They get £15 to £20 per hour; no slave wages! Everything was wonderful!”

“I have recently returned from a Baltic tour traveling from Vilnius to Riga and finishing in Tallinn. As I was a solo traveler for the first time I had some worries but any fears were quickly brushed aside. Daina was able to answer any questions I had. Our guide Valdis Ceics was brilliant - sharing his local knowledge and fun facts, telling stories about the history of the Baltic States and how it affected the people. Not only did Valdis speak good English he also had to speak German. In fact on one occasion Valdis was only going to do the german tour, so several of us “jumped ship” and joined him. The tour ran like clockwork and Valdis always kept his cool which was probably not always easy. I would highly recommend you and will be travelling with you again.”

“We visited Riga, Tallinn and Parnu on a seven night holiday organised by Julija who was excellent throughout the pre-planning phase. Hotel recommendations were excellent; the travel itinerary was detailed and Julija managed the outbound and inbound check in arrangements to enable us to get decent seats on WizzAir. Tallinn is a beautiful city to visit despite the cruise ship "zombies" that walk the streets. We stayed in the 3 Sisters Hotel in Tallinn - highly recommended. If you are thinking of travelling in this region; I can highly recommend these guys to arrange your travel and give sound advice.”

“The Russia trip was excellent - a fascinating journey into history and culture. It was very well organised and everything went smoothly. A couple of points of feedback: 1. The itinerary was very fluid and didn't follow any material I was given. Perhaps this is common with Russian itineraries as the guides mentioned a number of times that plans could change if traffic was bad, museums were suddenly closed by govt etc etc. 2. The Moscow section of the itinerary was very quick and full - it's a personal preference however I would have loved a longer period in Moscow and less time in St Petersburg. 3. The hotel in Moscow (Holiday Inn) was excellent and the staff very helpful and friendly. The room was great. The hotel in St Petersburg was a bit disappointing, a bit run-down and my initial room was very small (in the attic). I asked for a room change after the first night and they accommodated my request. I must thank Daina very much for her assistance throughout - my booking process, documents given and information was excellent. I plan to book more tours through Baltic Travel.”

“We had the most fantastic holiday in Norway on the Arctic Combo. . We couldn't fault anything about the trip and thought that it was excellent value for money. We loved our time on the Hurtigruten-the food was excellent and the scenery was amazing.. The highlight of the trip was of course the Snow Hotel and the king crab fishing, snowmobiling and husky dog sledding were incredible experiences-the guides were extremely knowledgeable. We will definitely use Baltic Travel again for any future Scandinavian trips and will recommend you to others. Many thanks for a magical holiday”

“Just got back from a week in St Petersburg organised by Baltic Travel. The pre-trip organisation was excellent. Getting our Russian visas went smoothly. Laura answered all our questions, even calling St Pete to get answers! Flights and pick-ups wentq well and once there it was excellent. Loved the Ambassador Hotel....very friendly staff, clean, comfortable and great breakfasts. Would thoroughly recommend Baltic Travel and will definately use them again when we head to that part of the world. Martin & Joy”
