“Bought a pair of your clogs a few years ago and they were extremely comfortable. Recently bought what I thought was a similar model but turns out this has be replaced by a more uncomfortable version. Despite being a smaller size, they were too loose. But more importantly, the pads on the underside of shoe altered their centre of gravity and made them unsteady when walking. Thanks for providing a quick refund.”

“I was disappointed with the pack of two pairs of insoles I purchased recently. I was expecting two identical pairs, of the same quality as were in my lovely back door shoes when I bought them. These are black, and and firmly padded with spongy material, very comfortable. The second pair are white, and of a much thinner construction. Also, although labelled as size 37, as are my backdoor shoes, I had to cut the toe end to fit the shoe. This was not specified on your website.”

“The insoles of my backdoor shoes slip out of the back of the clog. I asked for a refund and was told that replacement insoles would be sent. These have not been received.”

“I was disappointed that arrival was after Father’s Day as was a present . Also disappointed as the shoes were much narrower than the last shoes we ordered hence I have returned shoes sadly.”

Dear Kenneth, I have just seen your review. I have looked at your order and it was dispatched on the 25th. Therefore if I had known previous to this negative review I would suggest it has been lost. “Neither of the pairs of 'clogs' fitted...suprising since we already have one pair...slightly too small for me .uk10 and slightly too big for my partner.Therefore chose new sizes very carefully and neither pair suited...disappointing outcome.”

“These needed to be exchanged for a larger size and are now a slightly loose fit. They are made of a firm plastic/rubber and are not comfortable to wear for long periods.”

“The shoes are perfectly fine and do what they say they will do. However, in these more enlightened times when we daily witness the effects of plastic clogging up the planet I was amazed and saddened to see the product arrive in its very own single-use plastic bag. Why????!! What a waste of packaging!! ... and money! ... and resources. The plastic bag went straight in the bin. I bought some trousers from an online retailer recently and the parcel that arrived a few days later contained not one iota of plastic, just paper/cardboard packaging. Why you need to wrap your shoes up in a specially-made plastic bag is a mystery!”

“I ordered a pair of chunky tread clogs 1 size larger than my usual size as instructed. My feet flop around in them, so I returned them. As I had already paid for delivery & return I didn’t want to increase my outgoings just to try them on. I returned the clogs 9/05/19 but have not heard from Backdoor shoes to date (14/05/19). My star rating may increase once they have responded.”

“I have had a pair of Backdoor shoes (grass pattern)for a number years that have now worn out. They were a size 10 and were wide fitting and fitted my wide feet perfect. The new pair of chunky just brown I ordered were size 11 a size up as advised, you state that they are wide fitting but these are far too narrow although I have gone up a size. I returned these for a refund. The old style shoe was excellent. (If it aint broke why fix it!!)”
