“Recently purchased a second pair of Backdoor shoes, the sole of the original pair was becoming smooth - so now a have the new pair at the back door, and the pair at the front door. Perfect - really comfy - I can do most garden work in them as well. I would highly recomend them.”

“The order was processed very quickly and on delivery my wife was tricked with the comfort and quality of her garden shoes. Sadly my father who we had purchased a second pair for was less than thrilled. He couldn't walk with them on as they kept coming off so we returned them for a smaller size and Backdoor Shoes were really quick to send a smaller size. My Father was still unable to keep these shoes on and we had to admit defeat and return them for a refund. The refund was dealt with very quickly and will no fuss. Overall I'd recommend these shoes but they don't suit everyone but worth trying for the quality.”

“I had to return these thinking that they were made in UK. It turns out they are made in China only designed here. As a matter of principle I won't buy from the Chinese regime for their environmental, animal welfare and human welfare. They seem like nice and light warm cosy clogs though”

“Just received my first pair of clogs and thrilled with them! But I wasn’t prepared for the very loud squeaking and creaking (it would wake the dead) from the insole rubbing against the clog. A generous addition of talc under the insole solved the problem. I’m a UK size 8 (42) and ordered a size 10 that fit perfectly.”

“Just bought another pair of Backdoorshoes. My wife and I have lost count of how many pairs we've bought. Good to see you've cut down on plastic packaging. The only disappointing thing is that the shoes are actually made in China”

“I keep the clogs by the back door and use them every day therefore, required new insoles. Disappointed I only received black and not black and white as I expected.”

“This pair was to replace a well loved and used pair. However within a day they squeak when you walk. Very annoying. Have you replaced the composition of the shoes.”

“Purchased a pair of size 10 black for me ,normally a size 9,but the advise was to go up a size. Not totally sure I will wear them to much as even with the insole out they do not feel very secure on my feet. Made very well.”

“I'm delighted with my purchases. I chose a pair in the tulip design. After reading some of the reviews I also bought some cotton insoles, and I'm glad I did because the clogs fitted better. I also bought a lovely mini shopper in Meadow design to keep everything in. They make me smile just looking at my new clogs!”

“I've loved them from the start. My first pair, the lovely but apparently discontinued white and grey daisy print, are still going 6 years on!! I've kept an eye out for a trainer style print vs the more garden/diy printed ones particularly for popping out in and finally my wish was granted earlier this year. With most people having "no shoe" policies due to light carpets or grouts in homes these days they're perfect for getting from house, to car, to house when visiting, likewise nipping to shops for bread or milk. Bought backdoor shoes for friends for Christmas last year who recently, unprompted and out of the blue said, "You know those shoes you got us? They're the best!" Guess what everyone else is getting this year!!”
