“Excellent helpful team who answered all my questions and made me feel confident about the purchase. Once the bike was received it was easy to put together. I bought this bike after lots of research comparing specs and budget against other bikes, since spending over £2K for a bike is a huge expense.”

“The bike arrived in 2 days and before 5-7 days lead stated. Was easy to assemble, just be careful which way you position the fork/mudguards, I attached them incorrectly the first time.”

“The site was easy and efficient to use. The bike was delivered within a few days. The bike looks stylish, and is very comfortable to ride, the assist is really useful. Happy customer. Hoping to take it out much more over the coming months.”

“So finally I decided to write down few words after making 1000 k since February. First I would like to say few bitter words . So I ordered my bike 17th of February and after week with no info about shipping or tracking I contacted them twice by mail asking about my order. Both times I received answer that my order is being processed. On 25th of February I had a guy knocking to my door telling me he is keeping my package 3 houses away for a week. So no tracking info, no delivery note from courier, nothing at all. I was lucky as 1.5 k worth bike was kept in empty house for a week and nobody told me about it. Second thing, I couldnt run bike as batter was switching off constantly so I contacted them again just to find out latch that locks battery in place was snapped. Good thing, they sent me replacement part quickly so kudos to them. Now on positive note I rediscovered my love for cycling. With assistance your ride is just a pure pleasure. I dont even use assistance on higher level than 5 when taking hills but still moving without any effort. One charge is enough for week of commuting to work and still I have like half of battery. For that price you won't get better e bike on market. Probably one of the best investment I had. Thank You Avaris team!”

Hello Pawel, Many thanks for your review, it's fantastic to hear the Avaris bike has made you rediscover your love for cycling. Just in regards to the original order errors, I can only apologise for this. We were using Evri/Hermes in February. We were'nt happy with their level of customer satisfaction and therefore as a result moved to the carrier ParcelForce who offer a much better custome experience.

“I never usually write reviews on products but the Avaris 2.3 Electric Assist Bike really deserves one, I am a 55 year old man who was well overweight and suffered with pain in my knee from various rugby injuries and a major operation. I have always enjoyed cycling but was struggling with the hills near me on my Forme gravel bike, after many hours looking at different reviews online I decided to take the plunge with an Avaris 2.3, that was 6 months ago and I can say I am very impressed with this bike, it does everything I could ask of it, assistance levels are good when needed and control panel is easy to use, the components are of a high standard. I did have some questions when I first used the bike but had really good help from customer services at Avaris. Overall I would recommend this bike to anyone looking for an assisted bike.”

“I previously had an Orbea road bike that I mainly used commuting and getting around Bristol. Decided to move to an eBike due to the benefits of the assisted power and being able to choose how much effort I need to put in, given my mood or situation on different days. Did some research and the reviews and price of the Avaris made me make the choice. Made the right decision, very pleased with the bike, definitely works as a commuter bike around the city, with everything required. Looks stylish, well built and so far has been great quality.”

“The bike arrived within a few days and was well packaged and easy to put together, all I needed to do was position the handlebars and screw on the peddles. I tweaked the derailleurs with help from Youtube since they are generally not perfect on bikes straight out of the box. When out on the road the bike performs and I've now taken it on some challenging rides and hills, the assist is great when needed, I only use it on hills, but it helps me keep up with my non-e-bike riding friends now, which made past riding not as enjoyable since I felt embarrassed at times trying to keep up. I would definitely recommend the bike and have now done 120+miles. The only thing is the battery bar fluctuates when being used, for example when you're using it on a hill it shows you have less battery than you actually have, and then it rises again when on a flat. I queried this and was told, the battery indicator tries to predict battery left on current usage. Overall, a fantastic bike that I'm looking forward to taking on many more adventures.”

“My first electric bike and I think it’s an absolutely fantastic bike, such a good ride. I use it to commute in London and to generally get around socially. I don’t always use the assist but when you need it, it’s a total godsent and the different levels of assist let you choose the level needed at the time. Also found the bike to be decent value compared to other similar bikes, so would definitely recommend.”

“Excellent service, everyone I was put in contact with was helpful, very friendly and well informed. Nothing seemed too much trouble for them. I bought my bike in May, and I've done over 400 miles so far in that time. The different power assist modes provide serious help when needed. The bike looks really cool too”

“My first eBike and I went for the Avaris 3.6 because of the unbeatable price for a road e-bike. Delivery was super quick. I received a time slot for the delivery well in advance from Parcelforce. It took me about 20 minutes to put it together out of the box as it is 95% built up. So far, I did around 100k on it and am very happy with the handling and support uphill. I am still trying to find out the battery range. From the first charge, I got around 55k mostly on ECO mode and switched to Normal and Sport when going up steep hills (two of them on my way to work). I don't know if I would get 80k out of one charge. Even on flat roads. We will see. The build is good quality and looks awesome as well. One thing that is worth mentioning is that the derailleurs weren't tuned well out of the box. I had to tune them after my first ride. Overall I would recommend this bike. Also, customer service is super efficient and helpful. Thank you very much, Team Avaris”

“The product wasn’t right for me (unfortunately potentially damaged during transit). The team where helpful and a refund was eventually agreed. The bike is visually very appealing, and but for the damage caused during transit (slightly bent derailleur effecting a couple of gears) bike ride was really good. Battery covered my 12 mile round trip to work for the entire week. Would recommend, even though it wasn’t right for me on this occasion.”

Hi Steven, Thanks for your feedback. As discussed in correspondence with yourself. You stated a specific delivery date which was not picked up by our carrier Evri. The bike was then delivered with a proof of delivery and an accompanying image of the bike delivered outside your home. You then said you were not home and the bike was never received, so presumed stolen. We have therefore sent another bike to you via Parcel Force on a 48 hour lead time. We have recently changed our carrier from Evri to Parcelforce, who offer a better customer service and contact customers directly with a delivery slot, which can be amended if required. This change was made to avoid further incidents like this and improve customer satisfaction

“Too early to give a thorough review but first impressions are a good bike. Customer service was first rate and some teething problems were solved easily and promptly, please update the printed instructions or make a little clearer, online link was a lot clearer and to be fair that was my bad for not looking at that more in depth. Overall happy with my purchase & it will allow me to explore some places that were just too hilly for me on my old bike.”

“After much research and deliberation about getting and ebike I finally took the leap. What Avaris were offering for the price seemed to good to be true. All the reviews indicated this was a good purchase. My decision was based on the reviews, weight of the bike, style and performance. I initially wanted flat handle bars for a more upright position. Anyway I took the leap. Purchase was effortless, bike arrived within 6 x days. Assembly was easy and video instruction was really useful. I have only done about 100 miles since purchase but so far the experience has been better than anticipated. Hills are effortless. Personally this is exactly what I was looking for as I have a dodgy knee that was putting me off cycling. On the flat I have switched the poor off to give me a workout this is the best of both worlds. Completed a 30 x mile route easily with plenty of battery life. This review is early days to test the reliability and quality of the components but as far as I can see (I am by far an expert on bike mechanics) the quality seems great and all parts work smoothly. Looking forward to using this on a daily basis.”

“I am a recovering cardiac surgery and LVAD outpatient with Wythenshawe hospital and as part of my cardiovascular exercise regime I cycle as much as my failing form permits and the weather of course! I’m a member of the @electriccranks cycling group, it’s made up of similar heart condition patients and AVARIS ebikes gifted us one of their marvellous hybrid road bikes. In an attempt to raise funds for New Start Charity Wythenshawe Hospital we have recently completed a fully supported ride of the C2C Route 72 between Bowness on Solway to South Shields over three days 28th-30th June 2022 inclusive. For the record, I had not one single issue with the ebike across the entire 104 miles it is a very reliable ebike, lightweight, so very portable, easily carried unlike some ebikes and remarkably responsive out on the open road. The ebike provides wonderful assistance levels from 1-9 on the toughest of climbs and even below the river Tyne through that very nippy tunnel. I managed to ascend at least one 14% hill through the toughest sections of the Pennines in my condition so a fully able person would be laughing. The Kenda tyres coped admirably with a variety surfaces along the trail without a single puncture from tarmac to loose gravel, overgrown grass and sand. I must also add that it has very quiet brakes even when wet something that can’t be said for a number of mountain ebikes. I’m so pleased with this ebike I don’t want to part with it but appreciate that there are many other outpatients in recovery who would benefit from days out in its very comfortable saddle. In my opinion any determined road cyclist looking to purchase an ebike should consider this AVARIS hybrid road ebike first. It’s currently an absolute bargain at £1299…🤔 I can’t thank you all enough at AVARIS ebikes Cheers 😊👍”
