“I bought a record rated Excellent for both sound quality and packaging. The packaging was definitely Ex but the sound quality was not as per the grading and was Good or VG at best. There is lot of crackling on the record and a few pops, particularly on the intros to each side of the record, with a scratch on track 1 side 2 that can be heard during the intro. Overall, I was slightly disappointed as I had sought out what I thought was a copy in excellent condition.”

I am sorry to hear that your record is not in the condition described. We work hard to ensure that all of our records are graded and described as accurately as possible, so can only apologise and look to make things right if and when this is not the case. My colleague will soon be sending you a Royal Mail returns link which you can use to send the record back to us, free of charge. We will then issue a full refund for the order within 24 hours of receiving it back. We will then conduct a review of the condition of the record so that we can understand what we missed here. “Initially, I was very pleased with the record, it appeared to be in very good condition! However, my husband got me a record player for my birthday just last week and I was finally able to play it. I then discovered that there is a significant scratch on one side that makes it almost unplayable ): It skips through all seven tracks in a matter of minutes. A little disappointed, but I guess a lesson learned!”
