“Hi, I recently asked for a quote for a timing belt (2009 Mitsubishi Lancer) after waiting 24hours I was quotes £198:00 - Shock/horror! I took my car to a Mitsubishi main dealer who quoted me wait for it £22, I then got my car serviced (full 24 month service) timing belt changed and water pump too for less then I was quoted for a timing belt £189:00. I looked on eBay and found these belts for as little as £14:00. my advice shop around and avoid this site at all costs!!!!!!!!!!!”

“Ordered one part but received another, looks like I'll be on the phone on Monday to try and resolve the problem, despite having already spoken to them before the part was paid for to ensure they knew what I needed. NOT HAPPY Mr R C Blackmore - ref:- AM267348 received Fuel Filter Neck instead of Fuel Filter Neck Pipes.”

“AM Car Parts are a broker. You talk to them. They then talk to their breakers. This means you never get a straight answer. I was promised the part had been dispatched on Thursday, when in fact it wasn't dispatched until the following Monday. When I requested tracking details on the Monday I was told the breaker couldn't supply then as he didn't know which courier he had used....! When the part, a filter housing with integral pump finally arrived it was faulty and leaked. AM Car Parts then suggested I photograph the leak and send it to them so they could discuss the best way to fix it with the breaker.....! Avoid! There are plenty if reputable suppliers of secondhand car parts available. My tip is deal direct with the breaker and avoid all middlemen, and particularly AM Car Parts!”
