“Size 10 pistachio dress. Fits well, looks really good on but was incredibly creased when delivered, hence only a 4 star rating.”

“With excitement I have just opened an email as Alie Street has new stock. But nothing in my size. I own everything you sell in my size, every colour, I am a size 22 so that amounts to 4 dresses! I have previously queried why the same style dresses you only have up to size 18. the reply was that we stock all sizes, not true. I cannot begin to tell you how much love your products, I cannot believe how many people compliment me on the fushia coloured dress I have from you. Please rethink your stocking, there are a lot of big girls out there looking for quality clothing. I dont mind paying a bit more for the extra material.”

“The maxi black dress is lovely. I feel very glamorous wearing it. The only reason for 4 stars is that it feels quite tight at the front of the arms (and I have very skinny arms).”

“Disappointed, thought I’d had a good buy but the dress isn’t lined so basically got what I paid for. Don’t think I will be a returning customer. My previous dresses are lined.”

This colourway of the Annie dress is made from a heavier weight jersey than the other styles of Annie that we offer. We did not want to make the dress too heavy so decided to leave the lining out on this colour. We have sent an email to you suggest alternatives. “I ordered two dresses of the same style in different colours and returned one. The dress fits well and is a good length. However, material though is thinner than other formal dresses (Phase Eight) I have bought in the past.”

“Love the dress but agree with other reviews that colour on website looks more pink whereas dress itself is darker and more of burgundy like.”

“I would give five stars if this were a review of only the dress, which is exactly what I wanted and so very comfortable and smart. Maybe a dress with pockets would have been just a tiny bit more to my liking, but hey, thats not a big deal. My concern, hence 4 stars is the choice of carrier and as I wanted to put this comment on their site but couldn't, here it is: the dress was well packed and full marks for recyclable paper wrapping, however it was left outside my door with the potential for being spoiled by rain despite the fact that I responded to the delivery notification to say 'please leave in the porch', which wasn't locked. Needs a review of which carrier we can rely on!”

“Arrived promptly, beautifully packed. I’m 5ft 1in and curvy, fit and length perfect. Disappointed with colour, looked a whiter background on line. The dress quite heavy and the material had a very strong odour that still hasn’t cleared.”

“Beautiful dress, arrived quickly. Can't wait to wear it at my wedding! The only negative is that the fabric over the chest is a bit too thin so my white bra was showing (and the fabric is not thick enough to not wear a bra). I brought the dress to a tailor to get that part layered so it's thicker. Fingers crossed that should do it!”
