“I bought the bolero to wear over an Alie Street already purchased for a summer wedding. The fit is fine, but I feel the lightweight jersey fabric looks casual rather than smart and so doesn't "dress up" the outfit as I had hoped. It looks much smarter in the photos on the website.”

“I ordered the Sophia blue maxi dress for my daughters beach wedding. The dress arrived very quickly and was beautifully packed. It fitted perfectly and I was thrilled. I hung it up for a few weeks before trying it on again but noticed that the dress had actually got longer. I took it to a seamstress to ask her if she could take it up. She agreed to but said this would happen again if hung up due to the heaviness of the fabric. I kept it folded until the day prior to the wedding but it was very dressed so it took ages to get the creases out. By the end of the day the dress had again got slightly longer and I was tripping on it. This was such a shame as the dress is really lovely.”

“The customer support is exceptional, but there really should not be so much need for support. I received faulty products twice. Designs very nice and the dress fabric is of good quality. The coat not so great. Overall I wouldn’t discourage from buying from Alie’s, thanks to the excellent customer service and returns policy.”

“Disappointed in condition of dress. Although it was well wrapped it was extremely creased and was not easy to iron. Don't think it was worth the money.”

“Lovely dress, very elegant and flattering, wore it to a wedding but for the cost it should have been lined. The courier delivered to my home address when I had clearly stated my workplace when ordering. He rang and said he was on his way and when I discovered he was going to my home (no one was in), I asked him to place it over the side gate, he assured me he would. Instead he took a photograph of my neighbours front door, I received an email from Alie Street to say it had been delivered to my neighbour Rob at number 2, his name is Mark and the parcel was left on my front doorstep. Dress lovely, delivery rubbish.”

“Quick service and beautifully presented in a box and tissue. I needed to have a few inches off the length of the dress and feel women under 5ft 2in are not catered for. The jersey material creases very easily but hangs well. Very comfortable to wear. Sorry to see the prices have now risen considerably.”
