“Bought as a gift, I found Jeannie's responses and advice so helpful in making my choices. Delivery on my specified day was brilliant and I received advance notification of its journey. The meat arrived very well packaged and frozen and was really appreciated by the recipient. It all looks amazing but hasn't yet been tasted! I'm very much looking forward to being invited round to sample the Wagyu brisket and I'll definitely be ordering again.”

“My order arrived today, and I was SO excited to receive it. Imagine my disappointment when I picked up the burgers to cook them for supper this evening and spotted that they contain wheat 🌾. As a diagnosed Coeliac, it means that I am unable to even try them, and as they are the mangalitsa pork, they weren’t cheap. They had also largely defrosted on their journey to me, so I now have to use them all very quickly. Ho hum 🤔 at least I still have the bacon to look forward to. Maybe think about making it more obvious on your site that your burgers don’t just contain meat?”

Hi Ally, Thanks for leaving your review. We've been looking at the situation with reference to product descriptions on the website and how we can best act to remedy the issue you have highlighted. Although we do only currently make one product which is gluten free, and advertise it as such, we do agree it will make life easier for everyone if we list the Allergens on all of the processed products that are made here at The Butchery, and that is our intention going forward. We hope this will address any issues that you and fellow Coeliacs encounter when you shop online with us.
