“Alternative meats provide an excellent service, and I always find them helpful and accomodating. Something that larger companies could very much learn from. The quality of the meat is outstanding, which is not just down to the way it is butchered ( the cuts are perfect) but the supplier and how it's farmed. This allows you to keep it simple when cooking and let the meat speak for itself. Juicy, succulent and a natural flavour that melts in your mouth.”

“Buy from this company maybe 3 or 4 times a year when I need something different for a dinner party. Friends and family never fail to say how delicious the meat is and have thoroughly enjoyed everything from wagyu beef stewing steak to veal cheeks to suckling pig. The communication from Diane keeps you informed. I highly recommend this company.”

“Well packaged & still frozen. Delivered on the due day. As for the products, I was pleasantly surprised that the bacon & sausages really did taste like proper old-school ones ( unlke ones I've had from other retailers which made the same claims but tasted no different to supermarket ones ) Most importantly, very little fat on the meat joints, not even the Hogget leg ( I'm not a fan of fatty meat )”

“The ordering process was so easy, and the fact I was able to just give them a call and ask a question beforehand was really helpful. The hogget shoulder was fantastic - I roasted it for five hours on Saturday and enjoyed with boulangere potatoes, then used the leftovers in a ragu on Sunday for friends. It was absolutely glorious - great quality. Even my wife, who is bordering on vegetarian, enjoyed it.”
