“I have been buying from Alternative Meats for over a decade now. The meat is excellent, particularly the rose veal, the delivery is always reliable and Diane Jones is super helpful. Over all these years I have not had any problems and I do like their meat”

“My first order I concentrated on pork products. I was more than satisfied with the rare breed belly pork, the Mangalitze bacon. The Mangalitze sausages were completely different and were quite a speciality sausage. The rare breed loin of pork was sensational. Based on my experience I have now placed an order for beef products.”

“We have become increasingly frustrated with poor quality and tasteless meat from butchers and in particular, supermarkets. I believe that so many people have been convinced that fat is bad for you, so they drive supermarkets to provide cheaper and leaner meats. The taste is secondary. Your Mangalitsa pork products have a wonderful taste and I really won't be buying any more pork from butchers or supermarkets. Thank you.”

“The meat is always fresh, well packed, professionally cooled and delicious. A small company, with real people answering any of your questions. The variety of meats is endless and impossible to obtain in a supermarket but also nearly impossible to get in a local butcher’s. 10 out of 10”

“The quality of the meat was superb & the butchery was excellent - so often well known online butchers provide badly cut meat of uneven thickness and differing sizes - not useful to a cook! Alternative Meats was an exception - pork chops the same size & thickness.”

“I buy pork products from this company.The sausages and bacon are delicious,just like I used to have years ago.The pork belly joints have a good amount of fat which keeps the meat moist and gives it flavour. The one non pork item is the Wagyu beef burgers which are the best burgers I have had.Yum.”
