“This was my third order with Alternative Meats. The service has been excellent on each occassion. The rare bread bacon is delicious, and it's great to be able to buy chicken carcasses for soup. I will be ordering again as soon as I have room in my freezer.”

“Excellent quality meat. All came frozen (or nearly still frozen) so it required some juggling of what meat needed to be eaten first but it was excellent quality, especially the game meats.”

“We ordered a rare breed suckling pig (15kgs) for a party of 22. It was a fantastic experience, roasted next to a wood fire on a spit ( bought for £120 on Amazon, Kendane BBQ rotisserie grill) . The flavour is very nice with succulent soft meat and delicate easy to eat crackling.Took 5 hours to roast. Rosemary in cavity, rub salt all over night before. Brush with vegetable only for the last hour and increase heat so skin blister as crackling. Delivery was on time and it lasts for two days in the delivery cool wrap in the garage at 10 degrees. You can call the helpline for advice on how to store and cook. Will fit curled in the oven.”

“This is my third order with Altetnative Meats. There will be more. I mainly order for the unsmoked streaky bacon which, after years of research, is the best and tastiest I’ve ever found. Porky, perfect level of salt and skillful cure. Superb products great service and Diane is a credit to the company.”

“Communication is simply awesome! The quality of the pork cuts purchased is top notch. They are also very keen to accommodate requests, although you must let them know well in advance. My only recommendation to Alternative Meats is to find more eco-friendly packaging that can easily be recycled, but I was very pleased that they didn’t use polystyrene. I will definitely buy from Alternative Meats again!”
