I've tried a couple of different guitar subscriptions, none have been bad but I like YGA the best. Dan's not up himself, he's great at explaining stuff and the lessons go at a good pace. My custombuilt Pathway suits me very well, I really like the player studies and sound slice files. You can learn Another brick in the wall from multiple youtube videos but with Another plank in the fence you get a whole new set of similar licks and you learn better how the solo works by having 2 to compare. Same with all the songs in the player studies.

I joined a couple of months ago and the academy is further motivating me to study guitar. The path, the lessons and the platform are great, and £10 a month if you decide to go for a paid subscription is nothing. There is a lively community on Discord if you like to engage in any type of discussions around the topic with other students/teachers, and although I’m not particularly into socials, I found some nice stuff, e.g. the quick leak section. Apart from my personal objectives, I believe everyone interested in guitar can get value from YGA. Have fun!

YGA Club is a great way to learn new things on the guitar. There is material in all major genres for newbies to advanced players. The forum is enthusiastic and informative and the lessons teach technique, theory and musicality. The YGA Club is very personalized and responsive to member comments. I have courses from many of the other online guitar education providers and its courses are equal to or better than most and also an excellent value. You can also take advantage of the reasonably priced private lessons. Highly recommended.

Been playing guitar for 3 years this is the best course I've found. Other courses just teach techniques and leave you with that. This platform is nicely split to specific courses, specific topics and then lessons in each course give you that feeling that you get gradually better. I don't need to look for another course, now the only thing that limits my progress is time I put in.

I am very impressed with YGA. Their video explanations are thorough, and the supporting images, text and tabs are well thought out and very useful. Other video tutorial services (and especially YouTube producers) tend to neglect the importance of supporting reference materials. I was first introduced via their Jimi Hendrix style course, which explained this man's techniques and underlying theory much more thoroughly than any other sources I've found. After YGA switched to the subscription model, I took a few steps back and am working my way through the Intermediate Pathway. It is filling in some gaps in my knowledge that will help better prepare me for the Hendrix and David Gilmour material, and beyond. Highly recommended - high quality lessons produced with care, and very affordable.

YGA has given me all I need to progress as a guitarist. It is a structured learning program, so you have a clear learning path. The video presentations are clear and complete, and as an extra bonus, you can try to emulate your guitar heroes. I am starting to sound like B.B. King. I never thought that would ever happen.

Very stimulating site. It helps me to become a better guitarist. What can better: a way to mark my progress per lesson. Greetings Hans
