I doubt very much if there is a better more comprehensive and user-friendly online guitar teaching/mentoring resource. All of the content is excellent but in particular, the player studies are first-class, comprehensively put together and fun to participate in. I can't fault any part of the YGA experience, from the personalised online sessions to the discord site where students and mentors can interact. I would highly recommend YGA for beginners through to advanced players. The great thing is they continue to develop and improve based on student feedback and experience - exciting times for all those involved!!

I have been a member of YGA club for over a year. It is the best value for guitar lessons on any platform online. My playing has improved significantly. The pathways are logical and streamlined to help you hurdle the bumps in your playing ability, if you are comfortable with a particular skill, you can easily move along your pathway. You will not feel like you've wasted money on skills you have already mastered. You also have access to ALL of the purchasable guitar classes. So if you want to take a side path down the Pentatonic Pathway or take a deep dive with a player study you can, and not lose place along your pathway. They use a combination of pre-recorded demonstrations that you can start, stop, slow down, loop whatever you need to master that skill. Not to mention the use of backing tracks and Soundslice tabs to give you total control over your practice session. There are plenty of live coaching sessions and live streams with various instructors to give advice and feedback. Dan and his colleagues put together one of the most comprehensive guitar learning platforms on the web. It is hands down the best on the internet.

Since I've stumbled across YGA Club a few years back. I've seen my playing go from average to more of a technical player in a short period. The lessons are so well taught and well laid out in it's simplest form. I would definitely recommend the YGA Club to anyone who wants to improve their playing. Thanks for what you guys do it's greatly appreciated!

Dan is great!! I have really learned from his teaching. I struggled to learn major and minor cage shapes and the pentatonic scales. Dan takes you through this one step at a time and then provides practice guides which are so helpful. I recommend eclectic blues a truly great series. Player series are great too!!

It's very easy to get lost in the amount of guitar tuition on the internet to the point it becomes overwhelming. I found that systematically working through the structured courses of the YGA Club has helped me to stay focused and progress far quicker than I thought possible.

Love the variety, what every your preference they have it! I like the fact that their player studies are not just the obvious ones and the studies are very well thought out! The material is first class - the videos are especially engaging and like having a personal tutor. Very professional and can only see it getting better.

I am one of the first 200 members of the YGA Club and have been learning from Dan Holton for some years before that. I can't begin to tell you how much he has done for my skills as a player not to mention my understanding of music. I started playing in 1965 at age 9 and became proficient enough on my own to play with many bands over the years but never really knew what was behind my licks until I was lucky enough to come across Dan Holton and Dion Rushe several years ago. I am always learning and have realized that I can learn from anyone regardless of experience but having people like the staff at YGA on my team is invaluable. Even now at 67 I'm still playing and still gigging but thanks to Dan and his team at YGA I have the freedom and the confidence to create and improvise like I never had before because now I don't just cover the licks I understand where they came from and why they are where they are. I have and always will recommend YGA to everyone that asks me for help with theie playing no matter where they are on their path.
