“+ Box & kit arrived swiftly & looks intacted.
- Great difficulty conntecting with wire to WiFi router... getting device recongnised, occurred once after 5 attempts.
- Prefer to connect via WiFi, so tried to follow instructions about switching over, from wire to wireless, but so far no sucess! Tried automated BOT support... completly useless! Phone for support not answered... completly useless! Not yet found time or resiliance to re-attempt Wi-Fi connect again... it's on my to-do list so I don't fell like I've wasted money!”
“Sleek design, doesn't stand out in the kitchen and easy to operate. Wife Approval Factor (WAF) is excellent. Great connectivity from Home Assistant, no issues and works every time. We use the internal temperature sensor on the unit which lags a little behind the true room temperature but after using for a few weeks we know what setpoints to use.

It is physically larger which is a drawback; the switch is easily accessible which is a big plus; it is significantly less expensive than the aeotec switches.. And it seemed to be a lot more straightforward to add to my HomeSeer setup. And it works.

“Not perfect but much easier to set up and use that Home Assistant. Any problems were solved by help for Aeotec, which was very useful. Now I need to figure out how to use the API so I can integrate it with my X10 system.”

“My old TKB Home Zwave thermostat died after serving me well for 6 years, so I was on the look out for a replacement and came across this MCO thermostat so thought I would give it a go. I’m using it to control wet underfloor heating. I’m by no means an expert when it comes to electrics or plumbing, but it was simple enough to turn off the breaker, remove the old one and replace it with this new one. I have 3 wires and consulted with an electrician friend on how to wire it up. Live, Neutral and the 3rd wire went into the NO port. Then I had to bridge the COM to the Live.
Super impressed with the responsiveness and accuracy of the Thermostat. It looks smart with its glass front and touch capacitive buttons and most importantly it instantly paired with HomeAssistant (running Z-wave JS and Aeon Labs ZW090).
Really happy with it and will look to replace the other 4 TKB Thermostats shortly as 2 have died recently and I’m sure the other will follow.”
