“This is a full-on, no-nonsense, classic, versatile Toulouse sausage made with classic quality ingredients. The only difference is that the Fench version is traditionally sold cut from a long ring and is sometimes more finely chopped and fatter. However, the variation of what is sold as "Toulouse sausage" across France (often disappointing) has led to a 'Label Rouge' kite-mark being awarded only to the traditional version. This Swaledale sausage meets the requirements of the traditional mix and is an excellent satisfying, quality sausage. We are lucky to have found it!”
