“I have found supermarkets and many butchers don't sell beef liver. The liver was beautiful thinly sliced . Just flash fried in butter and then an egg used to clean the juices from the pan and piled on the liver with garnish. Just like my great grandad made for me when I was a child. Delicious.”
“Never had beef liver before so I thought I would try it. Why it is not more readily available I do not know. It has a lovely flavour and texture, neither strong nor tough, and at a fraction the price of calves liver it compares well. Had it fried with onion, bacon and mash.”
