“This was an incredible piece of meat. I have bought a lot from Swaledale but this has been my favourite, just pipping the lamb shoulder. Don’t normally write reviews but this meat was so good I had to this time.
There are five of us and a toddler, we ordered the 1.4kg joint and every piece of meat went. Aside from the fat on the top, that should be there, there wasn’t any inside the meat. Only thing I would say is if you all love meat then go for the size up. Next time I will get the 2kg for us but we all love meat so much.
We put it in a pan for two minutes, giving each part or end 2 mins at a time. Then put it in and oven at 180 for 1hr 20min, done.
