They look like new bar a name inside from previous owner. Highly recommended kept me dry even when sat on wet soil and coped with the yet washer. So result.”

“I have waited about a month to review these as I wanted to test them out as I work outside, am a landscaper, so am out in the rain for the best part of 8 hours ,and thy keeped me dry for 8 hours, the light weight so the not heavy when thy get wet on the outside, thy come in perfect condition, these guys are brilliant i email them about my sizes an thy got back with in a couple of days if that , the price of these pants is amazing at £18 for genuine gortex pants , its a no brainer for working, this company i give 10 out ,of 10 for the service, I will recommend them and always get my stuff of them from now on .”

“These are just about as good a lightweight, packable and waterproof pair of over trousers as you are likely to find anywhere regardless of price. To be honest most hikers tend to regard this piece of clothing as a “necessary evil” and would prefer not to wear them. However, if you are caught out in heavy rain or strong winds in the hills or mountains without them, then you will almost certainly ensure that you carry a pair in your rucksack on future trips. Since hopefully you will be carrying these most of the time lightweight is a prime consideration (along with a small pack size). Additionally ease of getting on and off is important and hence the need for at least ¾ length side zips. As far as other features go such as belt loops, pockets and a zipped fly goes this tend to be very much a matter of personal choice, some prefer all the” bells and whistles” and others (like me) believe the fewer the better since all will add weight and many will provide a possible point of water ingress. For me these are absolutely ideal for carrying in my backpack. However before anything ever gets anywhere near my back back let alone the hills it always gets fully tested in a much more forgiving environment. I have tested these on a couple of dog walks and they are completely reliable. To be honest I was confident they would be as I got a “distressed” pair a few months ago and they were first class. I cannot rate these too highly in the right situation such as hiking or mountain biking. However if you are looking for a more sturdier and durable waterproof trouser for regular dog walking or work outside for example in construction, agriculture or some similar I think you will find the Austrian Army waterproof trousers (with braces) a much more appropriate choice.”
