Mountain Dog are proudly the UK's Premier Dog Outfitter.
Established as a home-based business in 2017 when our border collie pup, Denver, joined the family. Since then our business has grown rapidly alongside this fluff ball who still acts as our ambassadog and chief tester of many products.

Today we have now served well over 150,000 customers and our business, whilst still small and family focused, occupies over 5000 square feet and is full of amazing dog products for the active and not so active pup alike.

Based in beautiful Northumberland our business sells on-line and at major dog events throughout the country such as Crufts.

“Fjord Jacket (Purple) I Wasn’t too sure what size to buy for my little chihuahua girl Holly but added her measurements in the size area, it was suggested buying the size 27, it’s little big on her in length, (it will keep her tail from getting wet though) but fits great over her body warmer, I’ve had to adjust the back leg elastics to make them more comfortable for her instead of them just dangling between her back legs, she’s not very happy wearing it yet but she’ll soon get used to it, it’s the high neck to stop the rain running down her neck that she’s not happy with but better than getting a wet neck. I’m very happy with the service from Mountain Dog, her coat arrived very quickly, love the colour on her, highly recommended sellers for high quality dog attire at affordable prices, this was greatly reduced so I’m over the moon with getting another bargain from Mountain Dog.”

“Great wee jacket, keeps her dry. The sizing is a bit awkward as she is quite long compared to the measurements of her neck and chest (short haired border collie). We ended up returning the first one (which was perfect on her back) as it was too tight around the collar bone region and sized up. The bigger one is so much less restrictive around her shoulders which is great, but does need to be tightened quite a bit around the middle! It's quite amusing when she sits down because it balloons out like a little cape. Overall though, great wee jacket though and keeps her nice and dry.”

“The quality of coat is very high and designed with excellent attention to detail. For example, drainage holes under the chest area to prevent water collecting, reflective tape, 3 bungee cords (at the tail, top of neck and below neck) to ensure a very good fit, a shielded harness hole, a bit of velcro to stop the excess chest strap from flapping around. Don't expect it to keep water off the chest because water seeps in where the front legs protrude out from under the coat (this isn't a design fault - the legs need to come out of the coat!). I would highly recommend this coat and as mentioned previously, the service from Katie is excellent.”

“Love the jacket, it fits perfectly, looks very good quality and does not restrict my dog's movement. Already tested it in the Scottish rain and mud and the jacket is truly waterproof.”

“Super, well thought out and made item. Fits my pointer perfectly and the attention to detail is great. Wonderful material and -maybe this is just me- but keeps the shape of the dog rather than hiding her behind a baggy bag! Price reflects the quality and design.”

“Lovely little rain jacket. Very easy to put on and it fits very well. Jemima finds it comfortable even with the leg straps in place. It has been worn a few times now with no problems.”
