I bought this coat to protect my dog from the rain and wind in Scotland. I took her up Mount Keen on a snowy day and it kept her body dry, she seemed warm despite the snow. Also the coat stayed on perfectly, didn’t flap about and didn’t restrict or bother her at all. I’m very happy with this coat.

Perfect fit; allows full range of movement for a very active border collie; definitely waterproof though we haven't tried horizontal rain yet. Wilf was between 2 sizes and we went for the larger. Recommend same policy. Cinching cords allow you to adjust down if necessary

I followed the video for measurements and bought the 70 for my DH lurcher who is 32” to the shoulder and 42kg mass. It’s a great rain coat, rolls up into a large coat pocket and keeps the heavy downpours off (which saves me having to work too hard drying him again The coat is well made and works a treat but as mentioned I bought the 70 but hindsight would suggest the next size up may have been more suitable as the coat goes on top of his harnesses (when out already). This makes it “only just fit” but still does the intended job. Maybe something to consider if measuring up. However, it’s a great light rain coat, easy to carry and easy to fit. The dog can still run wearing it and I would highly recommend this coat

Great waterproof jacket and easy to fit on my energetic Vizsla. I was tempted to give 5 stars but the only reason I've given 4 stars is due to the back of the neck not having an opening for the lead attachment for when my dog is wearing a harness and therefore need to rummage a little bit down the back of the neck to clip on and off - no problems when using slip lead however. Other than that, great coat

The Fjord jacket provides excellent protection for my elderly collie. Based on his measurements, I thought 60 would work for Max (he's a little taller and longer than a border collie for which NSD recommend 55). It gives good coverage to his neck, shoulders and, especially, his rear end. It's easy to put on and adjust - I like the cinch point above the tail - and doesn't slip at all. The Fjord's waterproofness has been well-tested since it arrived and I can guarantee it works! The colour combo of black and vibrant orange looks great and means I can easily spot him when he slopes off into the undergrowth after some delicious smell. Although the coat is best suited to a harness and has a weather-proof portal, using a collar and lead isn't a problem for me as Max doesn't pull on the lead so his neck and ruff stay covered and dry. I'm very pleased with this coat and also the excellent service from Mountain Dog.

Fabulous coat! Definitely waterproof, we've used it in heavy rain and it kept my pup dry. It's long enough to cover my long-bodied spaniel, fits well and does not restrict his movements (he likes to run). Great opening for a harness. And it's a great colour.

Used it a few times so far and really like it. Easy to get on, fits well and keeps my dog dry from both rain and mud from a track. The cinch point around the middle really helps too
