Established as a home-based business in 2017 when our border collie pup, Denver, joined the family. Since then our business has grown rapidly alongside this fluff ball who still acts as our ambassadog and chief tester of many products.

“Bought this as I have a Maltese with knee problems. I have used it this week for the first time and I’m thrilled with it . I had to pad the base out with some dog towels as she’s only small but it made it even more comfortable . The backpack can be used just as any normal good quality back pack and when your pooch needs a break it’s easy to pop her in to the front pouch . We left the flap open so she could enjoy the walk and then when we got to the pub I unzipped the whole front pouch and she sat there very happily , still secured in by the leash. I’ve tried many different back packs / front packs etc and this is by far the most comfortable for me and for my dog and most versatile”

“We put our 8kg terrier in the ruck sack and he was a little too low and tipping forward in the opening when he was on my back. We used the internal pad as a stencil and cut out a wedge from poly insulation board to raise and tip him back away from the opening more towards the back of the rucksack. This made a massive difference when carrying him and he is now very comfy in there. A good quality product that with a retro fitted wedge now does a very good job.”

“Very well made and did the job for our 10KG Scottie dog, who can become very stubborn midwalk. Hence the purchase as she can really slow us and the other dogs down. (not sure how much of bigger dog would fit in it). On first attempt she struggled and had the look of utter shock when first put in for her maiden lap of the garden, however on its first real use we had walked 90 mins and took a pit stop on the beach, when it came time to leave, she literally walked herself into the bag before being prompted. That moment alone was worth the price tag for us.”

“We bought this rucksack to carry our 9 year old Pom in when he gets tired on hikes. We absolutely love it! He weighs 4kg and fits in it perfectly (we boost him up by putting our lunchbox on the bottom and then a towel on top). We have space to carry our water bottles and a few other bits. We struggled to work out how to fit the structural poles (insert them vertically into the loops, one in the base, one tucked away midway up the bag). We no longer worry about the dog getting tired on long walks. Highly recommend, it’s worth the money.”

“Ordered this for our mini schnauzer who has recently gone blind. He has had a couple of short trips in it and I’m sure in time will get used to it. Means we can continue to take Rolf with us when we go for longer walks.”

“We purchased this for our large cat as he likes to get out and about and we needed something to take him further afield with us. Unfortunately we didn't count on him getting travel sick in it! We hope to slowly build up his tolerance over time. We chose this backpack as it has a clip inside to which we can attach his harness so that he cannot jump out if frightened. The backpack has a solid base for him, although my partner commented this does dig into his back. The cat seemed quite comfortable inside the backpack (despite the motion sickness) although I'm not sure how to stop the zips on the side from opening when he leans over the back flap. Overall, this is OK but I don't think its worth £100 and there are things I would change about it. The seller provided very efficient service - the bag was delivered promptly and was well packaged.”

Thank you for your detailed review. We love the fact this is probably our first cat customer but sorry it didn't quite meet expectations as most purchasers have been delighted with what is a very well built pack. On the subject of price these items aren't cheap but dog/cat packs simply dont sell in the same volume as human backpacks so I expect there will always be a premium as they produce less. We appreciate your comments on Mountain Dog, and we sincerely hope the cat gets used to the pack - even with dogs it can take a little bit of orientation.
