About Mountain Dog:

Mountain Dog are proudly the UK's Premier Dog Outfitter.
Established as a home-based business in 2017 when our border collie pup, Denver, joined the family. Since then our business has grown rapidly alongside this fluff ball who still acts as our ambassadog and chief tester of many products.

Today we have now served well over 150,000 customers and our business, whilst still small and family focused, occupies over 5000 square feet and is full of amazing dog products for the active and not so active pup alike.

We are proud to be a leading independent partner of world class brands such as Ruffwear, Dog Copenhagen, Kurgo, Kong, Non-stop dogwear, K9 Sport Sack, Rukka, ChuckIt!, Kong, EzyDog and many more.

These quality brands are all complemented by a full range of dog care accessories and our own brand of food, accessories and treats.

Based in beautiful Northumberland our business sells on-line and at major dog events throughout the country such as Crufts.

Customer service, fast delivery, providing quality items, timely advice and all with a smile is at the heart of everything we do. We dont get it right all the time but this is always our objective.

Be assured we genuinely care, we are a small but experienced team and love to help.

Very pleased with this light. We have trackers on our collies but wanted something else as a back-up in case in a poor signal area or if tracker battery was to die before dog found. If dog was to be frightened and run off then go to ground we would at least stand better chance of finding once dark as this lights up not only to the sides but brilliant beam straight up, lighting up vegetation or trees, and ideal for being spotted by a drone. Our collies are brilliant on recall but a few weeks back were terrified when three very large dogs off lead bounded out of the forest and scared them. Luckily the trackers had signals as our collies hid after running away. But if a poor signal area if we hadn’t found them by nightfall then I dread to think of the outcome. Maybe overkill but far better to be safe than sorry.

I hate this but it’s excellent, like most Ruffwear stuff. The only very small shame is that it uses a micro usb port for charging and that means another cable, but… it’s a well made port, v sturdy. It’s robust, connects just like it’s supposed to, is very visible, doesn’t come off. Buy once cry once. I’ve gone through many lights before giving up and buying this one, would have been better just to get it 1st.

An excellent bit of kit for my dog when out on the hills at night. She wore it camping high up in the Lakes this week on a wet and very foggy night. Visibility was about 20 feet in the dark but she was clearly visible at double this distance. Thanks a lot Mountain Dog

Nothing beats these. They are so bright we even use during the day when in the woods. Only issue is they can become very hard to turn on and off over time. But they last, they stay on, and the charge also lasts ages.

Very good lights , dogs easy to see at night, the light lasts for days and very quick to charge. On /off is quite stiff so hard to switch on at times but once you get the knack of it not too bad
