“This was the first kit I bought and the first time I had fermented. The instructions were very clear and the double sided sheet has loads of additional, useful information you might need / want to know. The cider came out fantastic, I couldn\'t have been happier and the friends and family who tried a bottle or two were also impressed, when I came to re-order it was out of stock so I went with a brand name kit at a higher price thinking and found the instructions were not as detailed and the finished cider wasn\'t as good. Anyway I grabbed another when they came back in stock, also grabbed the oak apple to try and have another of the apple ones on the go as I\'m writing this. Can\'t rate this highly enough.”

“This cider is really excellent and I would highly recommend that you don't add the artificial sweetener as it tastes of saccharine. Having said that I'd also recommend that if you prefer a better brew, use the Firmzilla so that this naturally carbonates and add the carbonation drops to the bottles in ½ measure (½ a tablet) as it will taste better and clear within a few days. I'm trying the elderflower cider kit next, so will post a review once that is completed.”

“Having brewed a wine from homebrewing previously, I bought this cider kit based on the strong reviews. I was not disappointed, it turned out to be an excellent brew. Strong, smooth, good apple taste. Everything that I wanted from it. Brewed it for 2 weeks then bottled, started drinking it straight away. A truly delicious beverage, will recommend to my fellow home brewing pals.”

“Having time on my hands following the UK lockdown I decided to return to home brewing after a 40 year break. My how it has changed! The apple cider was the second brewing experience for me and it was remarkably simple to do with the supplied ingredients. I decided I wanted a stronger cider than the kit provided for so I added another kilo of brewing sugar, anticipating an alcohol strength of some 8.4%. I also wanted my cider to be still and Richard kindly advised me what to add. I started the first 10 litre polypin after just 7 days storage and was well impressed with the result. I will only get better as it matures further. Have just ordered another kit.”
