I haven't brewed since the 1990's and have to say things have improves so much. The kit itself is simple and comprehensive with easy to follow instructions. I remained patient and the fermentation took a couple of days more than expected due to a temperature drop. I was unsure of the aroma after adding the hops but once racked into my pressure barrel the true beer was revealed. It's been three weeks clearing and almost there, it tastes amazingly hoppy and clean with no 'home brew' after taste. I'm ordering another kit in this range soon.. Thanks for top quality results with minimal effort and at reasonable prices.

Just wow! I've done a few home brews now but none are close to this. Not only my best home brew but one of the best beers I've ever had! I left it fermenting for an extra week which seems to have helped. Hydrometer says 5.9%! Please do not buy as there won't be enough left for me to buy more!

I bought this kit at Christmas for my first try at home brewing for 32 years (the last one was a Woolies/Winfield effort) as friends had said how good kits are now. I actually filled the water to 25 Litres by mistake so I added about 300g of brewing sugar to make it up a bit as I like a stronger ale and lager. I uses beer fining from Wilkos (even though Richard from Love Brewing suggests not) because I hate that yeast taste, then racked after two 3 days and bottled after another 3. It settled in the bottles very slowly but I could see progress happening so kept the faith and after about 5 weeks clear as you\'d expect from IPA. Very hoppy and moreish, I haven\'t had a sober weekend since. I drank my last bottle in the chilly spring sun today. Dockers IPA next!!

Great take on American craft ale. See friends face changes as they expect poor home brew & instead surprise when they smell & taste the finished beer.l don\'t tell them how easy it was to brew!

As a first time homebrewer I was a bit apprehensive at first, but the clear instructions provided were brilliant. I\'ve now got a keg full of incredibly tasty, hoppy IPA. Heaven =)

An excellent brew. It must have been put together to suit my palate because I really cannot fault it. The American Pale Ale is similar to this and I cannot make my mind up which is the best.

An excellent brew. It must have been put together to suit my palate because I really cannot fault it. The Mersey Dockers IPA is similar to this and I cannot make my mind up which is the best.
