“Faster delivery than expected. Fitted perfectly and easy to fit. Only one hiccup and that was that it was supposed to come with a long locking pole but they only sent a short key. After a phone call the missing pole arrived after a couple of says.”

“I'm pleased with this. It's my second loft hatch from Jupiter Blue, but my first custom sized. In place it has a very low profile and is suitably discrete (I needed to install it in a bedroom ceiling, so appearance was important). It arrived faster than expected, well-constructed to my specified sizing. It was easy to fit (I'd gone for quite a large hatch, so I needed a second pair of hands for a couple of minutes to help me just get it up into position in the opening ahead of screwing). Packers between the frame and joists/noggins prior to tightening, as suggested in the instructions, is definitely recommended, as the fit is good and any warping of the frame by tightened screws is only going to impair operation. The lock is a standard triangular fitting such as you'd find on an external electrical or gas meter box, so it's easy to source a cheap backup for that inevitable, embarrassing moment when you've put the supplied opening pole down somewhere and can't find it. Overall, I would have no hesitation in buying again.”
