Off the living room is the modern kitchen that has been fitted out to a high standard with modern appliances. The rear door leads to the patio area where you will find the outhouse that has been converted into a laundry room with a washer & dryer, outside furniture and the second-level sitting area.
Upstairs is two bedrooms, a double bedroom with a view of the River Kent, and a single bedroom with a view of the rear garden.

Changeover days are either a Monday or a Friday.

Kendal is well known for its many Yards that are home to residents and shops alike. Perched on the hill, overlooking Kendal is the 12th century Kendal Castle ruins, a popular walking area with great views. The castle is also home to various events throughout the year including the annual kite festival. Kendal provides a great choice of restaurants, bars, many of which serve great real ales, and cafes. The Abbot Hall Art Gallery is popular with visitors and holds portraits by Kendal-born George Romney and works by Turner and Ruskin. The gallery also hosts various exhibitions throughout the year.
Kendal itself is ideally placed for exploring South Lakeland, the Yorkshire Dales and beyond.
