We booked this on behalf of the two guys who were fitting a kitchen for us, so didn't stay in the cottage ourselves. However, they loved it and were very happy with all the facilities to relax in the evenings in great location. The beds were really comfortable, fabulous shower and the off-street parking for the van was really appreciated. The slow-burn fuel blocks for the fire burned quicker than anticipated so as a minor point, would have been nice to have more available without going out for more. Thank you

We had a lovely week at otter cottage. The cottage was just what we needed clean and comfortable and with the bonus of off road parking for any size of car. 10 min walk to local restaurants and pubs. The garden is ideal nice patio area. As we enjoy hiking and walking we were only there first thing in the mornings and evenings. Roads around cottage can be be busy so if you like peace and quiet maybe not for you.

This is a two-room cottage which can host up to 3 people. A nice kitchen, superb bathroom and very clean overall. The parking is at the back of the house and enough for one car (or 2 motorcycles in our case). The town centre is within walking distance and there are a couple of pubs for drinks and food. Overall it was a great place to stay for 5 nights and ideal location to explore the Lakes and not only
