Everything you need. Weather was warm and rain held-off enough to make use of the garden, sitting outside for our evening meals, which was nice. Lovely location by the river and handy parking too.

A very comfortable, well equipped little house on the banks of the Kent ideally located for exploring Kendal (a first-time visit for us) as well as further afield. Parking not a problem. Fully met our expectations.

We loved Otter View, it was so clean and perfectly situated for both visting the lake district and walking into Kendal. Our son is at the university of cumbria and it was a great space for us to spend quality time together. The kitchen was very modern and well equiped and we especially loved amazing bathroom. It was also great to be able to park two cars. We will be back.

Otter View has a lot going for it. Located on a quiet road overlooking the River Kent, and easily walkable into Kendal town centre. It has private parking, and a back garden area for relaxing. Sadly, for us, the weather was a bit too chilly for outdoor eating, but in warmer weather, this would be a great option. The cottage had all the facilities we needed for our stay and upon arrival we found it to be clean and tidy and exactly as we had expected from the information and photo's on the Herdwick website. The bed was very comfortable and a lovely modern bathroom made it feel special. There was plenty of storage space for clothes, etc. The kitchen is well laid out and had more useful storage space than we actually needed. We were really pleased with Otter View and would have no hesitation in recommending it to others.
