IQ Mobile is owned and operated by Peter Gradwell, a leading UK telecoms entrepreneur. His first business, Gradwell Communications, was founded in 1998 whilst at University in Aberystwyth and provides Cloud Telephony to over 20,000 UK small businesses.

In April 2020, Peter took over IQ Mobile, with a vision for a new type of mobile phone service that combines a high quality network, good value for money and a compelling offering that recognises the new more flexible, mobile way of working that so many of us are used too - but where we can also have a single phone device that respects our work/life balance.

Throughout 2020 and into 2021, we will be focused on innovating in the business mobile sector, adding Wifi Calling, 5G, Mobile Call Recording and other business class telephony features that the mobile world has long been looking for.

“This was my third purchase of a 100gb data sim and in all three purchases they were not activated at the time they should have been. On each occasion l had the contacted the help desk to get them to activate my package. I was informed that this happens to some customers who buy a monthly package and don't sign up to a monthly direct debit agreement. I will be seeking an alternative for my next purchase, due to these difficulties.”

“We have used IQ Go for the last 2 months whilst travelling in Europe. Coverage has been good and customer service is great. However it would be really helpful if there was a usage warning system. We ran out of data a couple of times, and it was very frustrating having to wait for new data package to be active. Why can't activation be immediate. Waiting for 9.00 am the following day is old fashioned and frustrating.”
