IQ Mobile is owned and operated by Peter Gradwell, a leading UK telecoms entrepreneur. His first business, Gradwell Communications, was founded in 1998 whilst at University in Aberystwyth and provides Cloud Telephony to over 20,000 UK small businesses.

In April 2020, Peter took over IQ Mobile, with a vision for a new type of mobile phone service that combines a high quality network, good value for money and a compelling offering that recognises the new more flexible, mobile way of working that so many of us are used too - but where we can also have a single phone device that respects our work/life balance.

Throughout 2020 and into 2021, we will be focused on innovating in the business mobile sector, adding Wifi Calling, 5G, Mobile Call Recording and other business class telephony features that the mobile world has long been looking for.

“I previously submitted a review that was less than favourable as I was not able to pick up a signal on my IQ sim but could in my phone. The problem was that I had not enabled roaming on my router (I didn’t know there was such a thing). Once I had done that the signal came booming through and I’ve been able to live stream UK TV whilst in Southern Spain. The customer support from IQ was first class. Great job!”

“Overall a very good option for roaming data while travelling in Europe. However the 24 hour delay when topping up our data isn’t great. It’s also unclear if I loose my previous remaining data when adding a new data top up package. Checking the remaining data available is a little cumbersome and could be improved. That being said, I would use again but hope these issues are improved.”

“Bit of a sceptic when it comes to mobile data. But the Go service was perfect, bought the sim, paid £20 and had brilliant internet in France so we could watch TV and surf. Highly recommend”
