I started Coffee Hit in 2008, when I was always buying cool coffee gear from USA and Australia as it was not availble in the UK. I wanted great coffee for my customers and at home!
I wanted to help cafes and people make great coffee at home. I wanted to show people it didnt need to be expensive and great coffee can be fun and simple.

“In addition to be beautiful is so easy to use, does not take space and allows you to extract the flavor of the coffee as a professionnal machine would do. Grinder comes in a huge box to be sure it's well protected during transfert. Packaging is really well done,you really have the impression to open a unique gift upon reception!”

“Tested Lido 3 before and then bought this one. It's about half the size of a Lido 3 and half the weight too. Nice materials, no plastic, excellent burr. I use it for very dark espresso (from Naples). In terms of quality of the ground coffee, both Lido 3 and Comandante C40 Mk3 are top, but the Comandante is much smoother to grind, easier to adjust and just a beauty to look at.”

“This is basically the best hand grinder available. Trust me, I've tried them all. Much more portable than the Lido 2 and every bit as consistent with the grind. I can't speak for its durability as I've only used it for a few weeks, but build quality, adjustability and performance is outstanding.”
