About Coffee Hit Ltd:

I started Coffee Hit in 2008, when I was always buying cool coffee gear from USA and Australia as it was not availble in the UK. I wanted great coffee for my customers and at home!
I wanted to help cafes and people make great coffee at home. I wanted to show people it didnt need to be expensive and great coffee can be fun and simple.

But if your like me you like to geek out a bit and we also have some really cool coffee brewing gear for my fellow coffee geeks.

We have the solutions for you to make great coffee at home or in the cafe.

Enjoy!

Big step up in grind quality from an MC2. Small amount of adjustment for espresso but definitely does the job. All the steps you need for brew. Time to grind espresso: about 1 min (18g). Time to grind brew: about 30 sec (15g).

Decided to upgrade from my Hario skerton grinder and is definitely a step up in quality. Much more consistent grinds and much easier to grind in comparison. Fast delivery as well!

Bought this after reading and watching a load of reviews on hand grinders as well as electric. Felt this was the best choice for someone who is looking to grinder single / home use doses. I typically make 2 cups of filter coffee, with my V60 and the hopper is big enough to fit up to 40g. From my experience, static/ chaff can be a bit of an issue and is something that occurs with all grinders, so would recommend a small spray of water in the beans prior to grinding. James Hoffman does a great video on this and the grinder on his YouTube channel.

So after having a £35 grinder before this one I can confirm you get a MUCH better grinder. Its consistency and ease of use is fantastic and it looks first class too. Only dropped a star because I'm not sure its £170 better than my last one and also feel for the price a simple cleaning brush would have been nice. Having said that I'd still buy it again on a heartbeat :)
