I started Coffee Hit in 2008, when I was always buying cool coffee gear from USA and Australia as it was not availble in the UK. I wanted great coffee for my customers and at home!
I wanted to help cafes and people make great coffee at home. I wanted to show people it didnt need to be expensive and great coffee can be fun and simple.

“A definite upgrade on my previous Porlex hand grinder. The difference in quality was evident from the first brew, even before I'd started adjusting the grind, as the cup was much cleaner and less muddy. Decided on a hand grinder over electric as I'm mainly brewing single dose and at this price, high for a hand grinder, I think it outperforms the electric competition. The grind quality is top drawer, retention is amazing (almost non-existent) and there's a good range of adjustment for my preferred V60/Aeropress brews. The solid build makes it feel like it will last a long time and I'm hoping for many year's service from it.”
