“Generally good handheld. The on-off button and brush button are a bit sticky (have to press hard to get them to work) and I'm not sure how long the head tilt mechanism is going to last (a thump ever time we go from locked to tilt). Excellent strength of suck and gets everything off the floor. Like the fact you can turn the brush off for hard surfaces. Relatively quiet. At full price would have felt very expensive for what it is.”

Rest assured that the floortool lock has been tested for over 10,000 reclines so it will keep going strong for years... because it has to take the force of a metre long lever each time it reclines we engineered it to be incredibly tough (which is part of the reason why it makes a thump! :-)). “Returned the Halo as I found it quite difficult to push on my carpets. I have arthritis in my Right hand , arms and shoulders and also found the weight of it too much. I realise with hindsight that with an upright the floor bears the weight of the appliance and should have had my Vax upright repaired. I understood at the time of purchase the Halo could be returned within 28 days and my purchase price refunded. Although the item was returned within 3 days I have yet to receive a refund.”

“We are really happy with the Capsule so far. Our house is on three levels so having a light vacuum cleaner is a great advantage. The Capsule cleans very well, especially with the brush activated and so far we have mostly avoided having to use the 'boost' setting which reduces battery time. The bags are quite small but the 52 included should keep us going for quite a while. Overall, a great vacuum cleaner!”
