“Slightly heavier than I had expected, but, now that I am elderly, easier for me to use than my present cleaner, especially because it is cordless. BUT I had to enlist my daughter's help to separate the parts again so that I could vacuum the stairs, and she found it almost impossible. When she eventually prevailed, the heaviest part flew across the room in a dangerous way. So I should like advice on how to make the release mechanisms smoother. Also, while cleaning the stairs carpet the brush shed a narrow rubber strip, and this is rather worrying.”

“Took a couple of outings with my new Capsule to get the hang of it!! Finding it easy to use now, much lighter than a corded vacuum, charge lasts well, good suction. Only two small moans: wish it stood up on its own and the mode buttons (Eco Performance, Boost) are way too small and fiddly to operate easily. Haven't had to change the bag yet so can't comment on the easiness of that. Otherwise, glad I had the switch!”

“Very happy with my Halo! It is lightweight, powerful and the battery seems to last well. It is brilliant for doing stairs - no heavy machine or wires to deal with. Being able to use at full height or hand held is also really handy! I bought mine after an elderly and disabled friend bought one - she was so impressed because she can now vacuum for the first time in years and the results are good! This machine is so good that I have finally put my Dyson DC1 into the tip!”

“I am pleased with the way the machine works. It is efficient at picking up dust and is extremely good on boost at collecting cotton/feathers that have threaded themselves into the pile. Good on stairs in short format. I have a slight problem when removing the tube as the attachment mechanism is necessarily quite tight.”
