“Excellent on wooden floor, although doesn't pick up bigger pieces. My hall carpet is very thick and I can't move in backwards and forwards on...it sticks! It works well on my bedroom carpets which don't have such a thick pile. Have never had a cordless before, so have nothing else to compare it with.”

Hi Jane, We're sorry you are not 100% pleased with your Capsule. Can we suggest that on very thick pile carpets you try Capsule’s suction in the 1 bar ECO mode? This reduces the suction a little and should make Capsule easier to push. Capsule has a lot of suction power and deep pile carpets let a lot more air through than shorter pile carpets. Although it is counterintuitive sometimes it is actually better to reduce the suction power a little for the best cleaning results. Rest assured Capsule still cleans extremely well in Eco mode, especially on deep pile carpets. “Wowsers! This vacuum has changed my vacuuming world! Four children and a dog!two girls with long hair! My husband and I now have to take turns to vac, because we both want to do it. My son (12) can now easily carry the halo up the loft stairs and do his own room, it's so light. My only concern is that it's so easy to use that it feels like you're not really trying! But I'll get over that. Actually the only genuinely annoying thing is the lack of somewhere to put the crevice tool, but I might remedy that myself with an adhesive velcro dot.”
