“I have excessive supination especially on right side where my foot turns outwards too much so my weight bears down on outside edge of (right) foot. The slimflex carbon soles made no difference at all despite me reading the spec. / description of these insoles which said they were designed for excessive supination. The insoles are well made. Maybe I bought the wrong item? If there is another model which might help me, I would be happy to be contacted.”

Hi Robert, Thank you for the feedback, and we are sorry the Slimflex Carbon insoles did not make a noticeable difference for you. By the short description given, it looks your problem needs a more customised correction and the issue is not simple “excess supination” alone. Slimflex Carbon is designed to help control outward rolling/supination, but if your weight is still going strongly onto the outside of the foot, another model may be more suitable. The next options would be the Interpod Flex Foot Orthotics or Interpod Vari-Force Foot Orthotics, as these can provide a more noticeable level of support and control. If you prefer something with a little more cushioning, Motion Control Orthotic Insoles may also be worth considering. If your right foot turns out significantly, or if symptoms are one-sided and persistent, it may also be worth having a podiatry assessment, as some cases respond better to a device that can be modified or posted specifically for your foot shape.

“At first they felt a bit awkward to use as the insoles were to support with supination issues. But after a few days I got used to them and I must say the shoes I use with these insoles don't cause me pain anymore.”
