“I wish I got the unscented version of this. It smells very nice, but I have sensitive skin and this caused me irritation around the nose. I don't know if the ingredients were too harsh for my skin, or whether it was the scent. Even though I tested the product on my neck beforehand and used it every other day, by the second time I used it, I had a reaction and had to wash it off immediately. In addition to that I have noticed that it has caused me hypo-pigmentation (certain areas of my face are now whiter). I don't know whether with continued use these will even out. However, the consistency was really nice, very soft and moisturising-it felt very nice on my dry skin. The lactic acid did some mild exfoliation- I don't use other chemical exfoliants because of sensitivity and was hoping this could do the trick, but it may have been too much. I really wanted this product to work for me, even if I could only use it a few times a week. I emailed facetheory to get some advice but they never got back to me.”
