“I love this product and had been using it religiously. Great for combination skin, lightweight but moisturising and used all year round to maintain clear skin - but the new glass bottle packaging is horrible. The formula was already prone to separating when it was in the tube, but it is worse in this format. It's also much harder to get all the product out and is bulky. I won't be purchasing again unless it goes back to the tube format which is a shame because I loved it.”

“I loved this product. I’ve been using it for a few years. I have sensitive, combination, acne prone skin and this Supergel balances everything out, calms my skin, keeps my pores clean, and even lessened the amount of break outs I get. However, I stopped my subscription for the foreseeable future due to the new glass bottle packaging. I love that the brand keeps sustainability high on the priority list, but the new packaging is terrible. The pump is consistently unreliable and the bottle prevents you from getting every last drop. I haven’t found a comparable product yet, but I know that I won’t be repurchasing Supergel until the packaging is improved.”

“I have been buying this moisturiser for years as it has done wonders for my skin. However, the latest change from tube to glass bottle is incredibly disappointing. Like other reviewers have mentioned, I cannot get half of the moisturiser out. Such a shame as it's a waste of both product, glass, and my money. I sincerely ask you to bring back the tube.”

“I love this product and I've used it for a very long time. BUT the new packaging is not it. It's hard to get the moisturiser out. You also end up wasting a lot of product because you can't get it out of the packaging. Please change the packaging, or go back to the tube. Thank you.”

“I love this product and have been using it for years. As others have said, the new packaging makes it very hard to get all the product out. The glass bottle also makes it less portable, which is a shame as this is a great on-the-go moisturiser. The tubes were so much better!”

“Love this moisturiser and I’ve been using it for yearssss but recently the pump bottle isn’t working. There’s half the product left in the bottle and no way for me to get it out. What a waste of product and money hence the 2 stars. But the product itself I’d give it a 5. Please can you go back to the tube with plastic lids.”

“Absolutely dreadful redesign would not recommend getting this. Good product but awful design. Cannot get any product out at all after about a week even though there is loads left inside. Such a waste of product and means you have to scrape bits out each day. Makes me think the redesign was to make you buy more rather than thinking of customers or the environment. Unfortunately lost a long term customer. And looking at the reviews a lot of people feel exactly the same.”

This is certainly not the standard we aim to deliver, and we completely understand how frustrating this can be. We’re already looking into ways to improve our packaging to help prevent issues like this in the future. In the meantime, if your Supergel Oil-Free Moisturiser isn’t dispensing as expected, try giving the bottle a good shake. This helps move the product to the bottom of the bottle so the pump can draw it up properly. To prevent this from happening, always store the bottle upright, as the pump may struggle to reach the product if it isn’t sitting at the bottom.
