Hi Chloe Sorry to hear this. Please do contact us for a refund at help@facetheory.com under our 365 day guarantee. In general - a cleanser can't really break you out because it is rinse-off - as long as you rinse correctly there's nothing left on your skin to block hair follicles. It is more likely you had a reaction called folliculitis which is why we recommend a small test with any skincare product first. Sorry again Jamie

“This cleanser is great! For the first three days (up to a week approximately), it was extremely tingly when I used it and left a lot of redness on my cheeks. I let my skin get used to it and now, 2 weeks into using this, my skin has cleared up a lot (still gives me a bit of a tingle but no more redness!). I wish it was in gel form instead of cream but I suppose that is a personal preference. It still works wonders and my face feels clean after I use it.”

“I was slightly concerned at first as it isn’t as foaming as the previous cleanser I’ve used but it makes my skin feel beautifully clean. I also like the glass bottle and dispenser.”

“Really good, balancing cleanser. Evening out my skin tone and keeping it feeling soft and supple. Not as effective in spot prevention as I hoped it would be but I'm going to persevere and see what happens over time.”

“Works really well - be sure to moisten your face first! It feels like it tingles slightly but certainly makes my skin feel smoother and clearer. Suits oily skin.”
